Blood stains and horrible smell
Blood stains and hairs all over the bed
Burn marks in the carpets
Damp and musky smell throughout the property,
Tea and coffee station has not been changed between guests and somone left there dirty used fake eyelashes
The bottle of water that they fill up has not been cleaned ever
We check out after literally after 5 minutes,
So disappointed as we love to support local businesses,

Filthy
Whilst we know this is a budget b and b,it doesn’t excuse how terrible this place is
Rooms are tiny and filthy
Bedding was covered in stains
Wall paper pealing off
Ceilings cracked
Bathroom tiny and again filthy with broken enclosure and either way too hot or freezing and near enough no water pressure
The hotel stinks
Breakfast,all I can say is just don’t bother,seriously I thought I could eat anything and basically I had a bite of the sausage and left the lot,absolutely appalling
Also we left around 20 minutes later and our plates were still sitting there
For £85 I expected more than this,I wouldn’t let my dog sleep in there
Two positives however is location,just a 10 minute walk to the tower
And the young lad on reception seemed pleasant enough I suppose
Avoid at all costs seriously

If I could leave zero stars then I would
As stated in the title, if I could give zero stars then I would.
On entering the B&B you are hit with an overpowering scent of lemon. This smell when you return to the B&B at the end of the night is significantly different albeit still has a fragrance of some sort however, it is clear this is being done to mask the more unpleasant smells.
The room itself was dire. I was instantly met with a foisty smell which was in fact the bedding. As such it was hard to tell if it was clean or whether it had been put on still slightly damp.
The room was old and tired. No easily accessible plug sockets.
When you ran the hot water tap in the bathroom you then heard the sound of gurgling coming from the shower plug hole combined with what can only be described as a smell of ‘rotten eggs’.
The shower looked disgusting and extremely dated therefore we did not use it.
My partner spoke to a party of 6 that had also stayed and they had similar criticisms and none of them showered either.
The only exception to this bad review was front of house person Kyle. I did not meet him, it was my partner that interacted with him and he had nothing but praise for Kyle. That said these significant issues do not detract from the overnight stay.
The saying you get what you pay for has never been so accurate to describe this run down poorly managed B&B. I felt completely grubby on leaving the B&B and could smell the foistness in my hair from the pillow until I have been able to wash and have a shower.
Absolutely appalling! Daylight robbery.
