Terrible

Had downstairs apartment. Terrible smell on entry. Bottom bedroom had hole in wall and shower was faulty.
Upstairs furniture very uncomfortable and chair taped together with tape.
No T/towel in kitchen for drying dishes. No frypan. No hairdryer as listed.
Laundry very dirty and no clothes dryer as listed.
Whole apartment floor dirty with food and lots of black hair everywhere.
Bedding not comfortable and dreadful pillows.
Do not recommend.

This was a nice little apartment, great location and good kitchen, living area and bedrooms. However the towels provided were unusable- just need new cleans ones, these were really old and very smelly.
Duvet in main bedroom yellow, really off putting. The bathroom was ok but some areas not great in terms of cleanliness.
This is tricky as parts of it where great and kitchen was immaculate!
I think with some attention to bedding and towels and bathroom would make the world of difference but also hugely necessary.
Our kids had a brilliant time and it was a great base for our short time away.
Two lights in living area broken but we were fine with a lamp and I flagged to Host and they were happy to look at this - responded quickly.
Check out time Of 10am is pretty early but fine for kids who wake early!

Ok but needs some attention

We stayed in 49. This had 3 bedrooms with sleeping for up to 6, but only 5 chairs for the dinning table. The owner isn't very organized. We had to ask several times on the day of arrival for the access code. In the end he sent it about 30 mind before we got there. The info says there is a welcome pack with tea, coffee and milk – this is not true. The internet and TV did work when we arrived. The owner claimed he would come and fix it but never did, so I had to fix them myself! The view from the apartment is very poor, a dirty back yard. The parking is on the road not on site as it says in Hotels.com.
The place is ok but needs a bit of love and care to fix a few issues. Bushmills is ok but not many places to eat. Overall there are better options locally. Could be a nice place if the owners took some interest in the property and their guests.

Disgustingly dirty and unsafe to stay in

Absolutely disgraceful. I rang the owner to come and view the property I was staying in with my 3 kids. He wouldn't come out but admitted he knew that there was vomit stains on the carpet, nails hanging out of the bannister and holes in the wall. The entire property was disgustingly dirty. My daughter cut her hand on the banister and my son ended up with bug bites. Owner agreed to let me cancel my booking however only partially refunded the booking as he said he has to still pay the cleaners as I had entered the property- absolute cheek of it. Booking.com have not helped with the matter at all. Avoid at all costs.
