Excellent, as always!

Another excellent stay at Tyacks. Very friendly and ever-helpful staff, comfortable and quiet room, good food. Excellent location, too, for those of us who use public transport. I trust I shall return and look forward to my next visit.

Don’t bother

They advertise all you can eat breakfast on Saturdays and as we like to support our local businesses we decided to give it a try. Never again it was the worst breakfast ever, dried out bacon, undercooked sausages, dried up beans, mushrooms and hash browns, toaster was useless and all in all an absolute disgrace for £16.00 person.

Very comfortable stay but could do with some investment and modernisation to the bedrooms.

This hotel is centrally located in Camborne, Cornwall.
The reception staff were welcoming and efficient.
The bedroom was a good size.
The modern bathroom was super with bath and shower over the bath.
The bedroom was a little tired and would benefit from some modernisation. However, the linen was clean and bed comfortable enough.
There is a restaurant on site dnd also a bar so no need to leave the hotel if you don’t want to.
Hotel close to a large Wetherspoon pub and Aldi supermarket.
Car park on site and free of charge.
No lift.

Car park fine ruined it for us.

My wife often uses tyacks hotel restaurant with friends and families but on the last occasion she took my car instead of her car but registered her car in the car park by mistake.Two weeks later she had a fine of £100!!! She appealed the fine as she still got the ticket for parking and also receipt of the meal she had there and also noticed on parkingeye website it says you can challenged the fine if you make a mistake on your registration number which was what she did but apparently with her P&P ticket and receipt that shows the time and date are not good enough and still got a fine!!! So for that reason alone we have now stop using tyacks and gone somewhere else.and also you supposed to get a refund on your P&P ticket if you’re eating in the restaurant but only if you paid in cash (not cards)on the parking machine but unfortunately ever time you put coins in to the machine it just spit it out again and again so ends up using card’s which they can’t give you a refund on parking charges.
