Wonderful delight by the river - heaven

Wonderful hotel and will make this a regular hotel for relaxation. It has a beautiful location by the river and I highly recommend you book the rooms with the river view for a fabulous holiday experience. The restaurant and break fast room overlook the river and there is a lawn area to relax with deck chairs overlooking the river. The reception staff are all helpful, special thanks to Pradeep, Cohan, Emma. Aaron and Conrad. The breakfast staff are friendly also and serving teas and coffees regularly alongside a good buffet breakfast including hot and cold food. A special thanks to the delightful Amelia. The bar stuff are amazing and I will be dreaming of their amazing freshly made fruity slush drink. I also wish to recommend the leisure bar which has a beautifully maintained jacuzzi and area, constantly checked and kept super clean. We looked at the other hotels in the area but this was definitely the best on all fronts and you can rely on the reception staff to manage all your needs . Also there is a disabled level access toilet and so fully suitable for disabled guests.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location in a beautiful city

My wife and I stayed for two nights in one of the rooms with a balcony overlooking the river. We had a lovely stay and were so impressed that we are returning in a few weeks time. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect for walking to the city centre. The staff in the hotel are friendly and attentive. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

Fantastic hotel- central location on the river can. We stayed in a river view double room with balcony- very clean and classically decorated. The staff were amazing. Supplied a bathrobe so I could go for a swim and use the jacuzzi and steam room. The food and service are some of the best we’ve had in a hotel, from the breakfast- set in the quaint Garden House restaurant, to the afternoon tea- all were a very high standard. This hotel has so much to offer you can easily spend a lot of time here. Would definitely return.

Really nice hotel, beautifully decorated, let down by the rude and unhelpful staff, plus on a lot of occasions only one person at reception so long waits for check in / out or to ask simple questions
