Just what I needed
The location of the hotel was perfect for me, right in the middle of the town, and the free residents parking was a real bonus. My room was very pleasant and comfortable - in fact I was upgraded to a suite with a separate sitting room which was very useful as it meant I could keep my work out of my sleeping space.
Overall the atmosphere of the hotel is warm and welcoming. The staff were lovely and ready to help. They don't do evening meals, but the hotel is a very short walk from a wide range of restaurants. Breakfast was very good, and there are veggie options.
There were quite a lot of stairs up to my room, but there are plenty of ground floor options too, so if you needed that it would be worth mentioning when booking.
I was traveling for business, but this hotel would also be a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside and nearby beaches, and the historic town.

A Gem of a Hotel
Lovely comfortable rooms, freshly decorated and well equipped. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. This is a gem of a hotel in a great central location

My room
Had a lovely 2 night stay in this hotel .my room was perfect for me .lovely comfy bed ,breakfast on both days was lovely. Nice friendly staff thank you

Hotel was great. However I went down for breakfast and no one was there to greet me and I didn’t know what I was doing so I didn’t have breakfast I went back to my room and had breakfast out. If I stay again I’ll ask during check in to find out. The hotel is great overall and fairly priced.

Great little hotel
I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was booked for a work trip and so I didn’t really have much information on the hotel (and our booking platform is usually more miss than hit!).
Warm welcome, large comfortable room with a great bathroom.
Staff asked about food allergies when I checked in and the following morning I had soya milk provided for breakfast and the waitress also ran through what I could eat.
Great breakfast.
Really can’t fault the place and if I’m back in Carmarthen I will happily stay again.
