Very good food

The food and menu is very good indeed, very reasonable and everything under a tenner. Staff great too. I would definitely recommend the cheese and onion pie and all day breakfast. We were made to feel welcome the minute we walked through the door. Will definitely come back x

basic and enjoyable

On arriving at the property we were shown our room which was lovely . Twin room which was spacious enough for us two and our dog. Beds clean and comfortable . Small TV which we didn't really use as had our tablet which we used to watch films . Food very basic especially breakfast...undercooked sausage and bacon. Egg was dirty from dirty frying pan. So the 2nd day I just had cereal and toast. The couple were pleasant but didn't seem too chatty, polite or 'people persons ' . Good location as central and parking wasn't a problem
Overall an enjoyable stay but I wouldn't go again due to the quality of breakfast and lack lustre staff .

Bad experience

Had a disappointing experience at the Roebuck, Chapel En Le Frith. Stayed here with my partner from the 3rd to 4th August. The owners were unpleasant and were quite snobbish. They played heavy rock music which was utterly useless! Room was basic. TV remote wouldn’t work. Poor Wi-FI services. The woman owner forced her way into our room without our permission while we were in our nightwear! The breakfast took too long to arrive and was very greasy. And a rooster woke us up in the early hours of the morning which I thought was very unpleasant and not very generous of the Neibor’s!

Lovely b&b in the peak district

A lovely little bed and breakfast. Rooms are well appointed, comfey beds, nice shower. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast amazing, plenty of food and great value.
Well situated near some good restaurants and local shops.

Fantastic clean hotel, in the centre of town with great staff

The room was spotlessly clean with everything you need, comfortable bed and pillows, the shower/bath water was hot almost instantly with large bath towels, plenty of tea and coffee and replenished every day when the room is cleaned, Karen the manageress said if we required any more just let her know.
The bar was very pleasant, with a great selection of drinks and was busy with friendly locals, Karen as she is from Chapel en le Frith, explained where to go, what to do and see.
The location of the Roebuck Inn couldn’t have a better location in the Market Square at the centre of the town, there is free parking in front which we managed to get whilst we were there 2 days
