Perfect location & received a warm welcome
Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the sauna facilities out the back, but wished we could have. The garden is a little oasis of calmness and we would love to come and try it one day.

Has so much potential
Location. 1 min from Wetherspoons, close to shops and Castle, brilliant.
Staff very friendly.
Continental Breakfast included.
Comfortable bed
Negatives:
Whilst a lovely decor with the pine Martin photos, the room was not very clean and tired; needs a refresh.
The shower head fitting is very loose and came off the wall although we were able to put it back into place. This needs replacing.
Unfortunately, there was no hot water when we came back from our (wet) run therefore we had to brave a very cold shower (no need to pay extra for their plunge pool!)
We appreciate that this isn't anyone's fault, but no apology or offer of compensation.
Has such potential but would not stay again for the price.

Went to the races at Chepstow for a birthday, checked in to the hotel at 4pm, male staff member couldnt be arsed to move from his sofa to greet us, some information regarding food was that they stopped serving at 9pm, turned up at 8.55pm and was told the ovens had been turned off early so no food. Great we spent £200 across the road at the Indian instead. The room itself smelt of sewerage and an awfull smell from the shower, which is blocked hair, pillows were lumpy, better places to stay in Chepstow for just a little more. Breakfast we never bothered with but was just a continental, we recommend the ugly mug in the town.

Very good
Self service breakfast next morning with cereals, fruit & toast. Plenty of coffee & choice of juices.
Check in/out all straightforward.
Would return & would recommend.
