Brilliant couples weekend away
All the staff can’t do enough for you very helpful and friendly,the place has a great atmosphere,lovely bar and restaurant serving great drinks and very tasty food at reasonable prices which are fantastic portions
We would definitely stay again
Rooms
The deluxe room we had was right at the top which is upstairs ( no lift) I do struggle a bit with walking but I did mange them and the staff were great with helping my husband with the cases , the room was beautiful so spacious and clean ,big comfy bed ,wardrobe big set of drawers and big vanity cabinet, lovely clean ensuite ,very minor thing was not big enough towels and the grip had started to wear away at the bottom of the bath for when u using the shower ,I use the shower I can’t get in or out a bath so was even more cautious maybe would be ideal to get some grib mats for them but it’s a very minor thing for me that
Nearby activities
You are right in the city next to the town hall and the cathedral straight across , close to all the shops and plenty of other bars and restaurants , the city walls and the theatre as well
Safety
There is side door and then another door at bottom stairs which both have locks on and can only be used by guests and staff you have to have key to use them which is good
Walkability
Very close to other bars and restaurants and the shops ,the cathedral and the city walls there is plenty so close and tourist information is next to the town hall and you can get the tickets for the hop on and hop off your bus which you can also add on the river boat tour onto that and the bus stop is so close
Food and drinks
Food in the restaurant in the coach house is Beautiful ,very tasty and great portion sizes ,highly recommended having the breakfast as well

One night, location superb
Service - great as soon as we went in welcomed and checked straight in
Breakfast - lovely and well worth it
Room - warm so left windows open until we went to sleep. There is secondary glazing so take a look and use it as it’s in the town so some noise.
Cleanliness- fair, carpet up to stairs not great. Room ok for one night, by no means dreadful but could do with just an extra burst with the cleaning.
Overall one night go for it!!

Right in the hub of the city
Just note that there is no lift should anyone have a large bag although I’m sure someone would help with lifting up the stairs and could do with making the key fob smaller as it’s a bit big to carry around
I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Chester 😊
