Bad property ith unprofessional owner
Hi everyone plz don’t go this property don’t trust them I book this property ith my family when we reach there it’s no water at all in property and they charge me full amount & by 10.30 in night am on road ith my 8 month pragnet wife find another accommodation I request u guys don’t trust them

Disgrace
I turned up at the place only to find it closed, I had booked months in advance & had email confirmation. I tried to ring host, eventually got back to me saying place is closed you’ll have to find somewhere else to stay!! This is absolutely shocking way to run a business, luckily I got booked into somewhere close by. I am currently waiting for a refund!!!

Avoid. Go elsewhere.
If your idea of good accommodation is a bed in a shabby, run down summer house that is in bad need of a lick of paint, then this is the place for you. My husband described this as the worst accommodation he has ever stayed in, including a hedge he slept in during the Isle of Wight Festival in 1969.
Personally, the bathroom (if it can be described as such - it is a concrete block some distance from the summerhouse without windows, or any other features) had all the ambiance of a place I stayed in whilst Inter-railing in the former Yugoslavia on the eve of the Balkan War.
The owner - the elusive Margaret - had seemingly leased the house to a group of East European builders, who whilst pleasant enough, did not speak enough English to help us find the accommodation we had booked and we eventually found a note on the door with Margaret’s phone number. On calling and enquiring about breakfast we were told that none was being provided (despite the details to the contrary on Booking.com) and we were told that there was a Weatherspoons in town if we required breakfast. The smell of stale beer and piss is not really what I’m looking for when it comes to breakfast so unsurprisingly we did not take Margaret up in her suggestion.
Basically the best thing about Rebels Hide is the name. It is to be avoided at all costs. We were charged £90 per night and needless to say we did not stay the second night. It is being run by someone who cares nothing for her guests and is only interested in your money. Avoid.

Did not stay as not up to standard expected.
Unfortunately we decided we could not stay. The room was very dated and the wardrobe full of someone’s clothes. It felt worn , shabby and unclean. The room in my opinion needs an upgrade. Bathroom ok. Owners response when we complained was not professional.

Shabby and dirty
My family and I stayed for one night as a last minute stopover between north and south. Stayed in the studio room and was disappointed from the minute we arrived. The exterior is unkempt and windows in desperate need of a wash. Upon entering it looked and felt dirty. The floor needed a good scrub (our socks were dirty from walking about), all bedding needs replacing as it is old, worn and bubbly. I scrubbed the table before we ate as it too looked and felt dirty. Towels were old and need the bin. Each kitchen item I went to use I found it was dirty and needed to be washed before using, some with the previous occupants dinner still visible. The whole place needed a good scrub, lick of paint and brought up to standard.
Was especially disappointed as in the current situation, during the pandemic, I would expect places to be immaculate. Moved on to a cabin in the woods tonight and it is far superior in terms of cleanliness.
