A gem
We were visiting friends 31st march to 2nd April, who live on Litchfield Road Coleshill, and had stayed in a cheaper hotel last time, but after booking same hotel we decided to change to the Grimscote, yes it was a lityle more expensive but prived to be a great decision, and well worth the few extra pounds, on arrival we bumped into Steve the hotel owner and all round mastermind of all the beautiful things in the grounds, a really friendly and interesting man, with so many ideas in his head, was a pleasure to also spend time chatting to Paul about the works that they have done over the years.
We stayed in room 19 we have never had so many plug sockets (14 doubles) including integrated USB ports as well beside the bed, the room was spotless.
There is plenty of parking and there is also a lovely area with Chickens and peacocks obviously undercover atm due to bird flu.
Our room was lovely I would say furnished to a much higher standard than we are used to !!! very comfy bed and a great bathroom with good instructions on the shower.
The room rate we booked included breakfast and that was lovely and the service all through the hotel was top notch, everyone had tomebto chat and make you feel very welcome.
So weldone Grimscote we will definitely be back when visiting our friends obviously when we aren't on a cruise together ;-)

The best afternoon tea!
Came here for Afternoon tea with my mum today. absolutely amazing afternoon tea!! Massive chocolate covered strawberries that taste delicious lots of sandwiches and other cakes, the scone was warm and very light, very tasty. My first time having a blueberry cupcake but with fresh cream on top instead of icing. Very nice. Beautiful location too.

An exceptional experience
We went for an afternoon tea and we were so impressed! Both the tea itself and the venue were outstanding.
We felt it was the best afternoon tea we’ve had (and we’ve had a few!) The food was first class and we loved the fact that each person got their own individual tier of plates of food. All the food was delicious and we were provided with unlimited tea and coffee.
The venue was in a very picturesque setting with lovely grounds which were well maintained. It must be noted that it is next to a dual carriageway but you wouldn’t know, it’s hidden away.
The hotel was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, each lounge and function suite has a different style.
The whole experience was topped off by the friendliness of the staff. We were well looked after, particularly by Maria who went out of her way to make us feel welcome.
We would definitely return here as we are very tempted by their other menus!

Afternoon tea at a hidden treasure
We were greeted beautifully by reception staff and shown to a really classy well cared for and immaculate dining area, decorated to really high standards. Window seats and overlooking the lovely grounds at rear. The afternoon tea was delicious and a plenty. We took the leftovers home with us, boxed up dated. Really did enjoy ourselves and returning very soon.
