Beautiful cabin in the trees

The Cabin After a three hour drive, walking onto the balcony and looking out into the forest you can feel your spirit take a breath, nature gently lifts the weight off your shoulders, and the sweet clean air carries away any cares.
Above you red kites soar on the thermals, woodpeckers run around the tree at the kitchen window, siskins, greenfinches, tree creepers all joining in the morning cacophony of song as you tuck into a delicious breakfast of fresh eggs and toasted homemade bread left with other delights in a Welcome hamper. This cabin is absolutely stunning. As you walk into it there's several "oh look at that" moments taking in all the little decorative touches, a gorgeous fully equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom with maps adorning the walls and a lovely powerful shower, a snug with home cinema and fairy lights, and the bedroom on the upper floor with huge windows, and the softest bed.. I slept like a baby . At the end of the day you sink into a warm bubble bath out on the balcony surrounded by trees.... And you think you've gone to heaven xxx
A romantic hideaway, a place to rest, perfectly situated for exploring. It's set at the top of a hill above the Croft where there is a wonderful camp site with lots of adventures set out for children, whose whoops of joy and giggles we heard on the wind suggest they were having the time of their life. As evening falls though, there's a quiet peace falls over the cabin and you are pretty much undisturbed by anything but birdsong . There's a shop and a cafe on site and it's not too far from the pretty town of Dunkeld, and the staff "crofters" are really welcoming. This cabin really is home from home, beautiful, relaxing and they seem to have thought of everything.
Already secretly pencilling in another stay next year in this gem

Super stay, family loved it

Stayed in one of the Kata tents with my two children.
Absolutely fabulous facilities, camp fire, gas stove for cooking and cooking utensils, wood fire stove in the Kata tent.
Beautiful scenery, rope swing which my daughter loved. Slow worm bike trail great for beginners, but prob still too advanced for very new cyclists.
Loads of bike trails for the older kids
Only downside was the cafe ran out of sandwiches. We had thankfully brought all our own food, but would have been tricky otherwise. Soup was delicious though.
Would definitely return!

Amazing “wild” camping with fantastic facilities

Took my 4 year old grandson for his first camping trip. Amazing site with fantastic facilities, family friendly. Will definitely return. We were on pitch 1, close to shower block. Is up a small hill. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Cafe has amazing coffee and food.

Our favorite Campsite to visit as a family

Our two night camping stay was from start to finish 5 star. From a very warm welcome, information on what, where and how was great. Every thing we needed was available and working, with ease and simplicity that makes a stay so enjoyable. The site is clean and tidy, all areas are clearly marked out. The shop, cafe, bike shop and restaurant have all you need if you ever need something. We are booking again for August and recommending to all our family and friends.

Magical world that feels like a proper escape With just over 2 hours drive (including a charging stop) we arrived at the

With just over 2 hours drive (including a charging stop) we arrived at the magical Comrie Croft! I can see why guests return repeatedly. A repurposed hostel and WELL maintained campsite facilities make up this impressive family friendly community led resort. Think water troughs, outdoor kitchens, decking, festoon lighting and wooden paths. A Scottish safari camp. The kids really have been free range biking until dusk. Hitting the pillow after a good 12 hours outdoors. How we remember our summers. The iPad? Left in the car. My heart is full.
