Great getaway and very friendly staff!

Had a really lovely stay at Galgorm. The spa was a highlight, and we spent a good few hours making the most of the facilities. The Alpine Garden was great, and the new Forest facilities were also really impressive and a nice addition to the spa experience. It wasnt as quiet as we would have hoped as there were a few larger groups but we still got to relax none the less.
We had a few drinks from the Alpine garden and Bradley was very helpful and gave good advice about the spa and hotel facilities and was very friendly.
We ate in Gillies and thought the food was good overall. After dinner, we went to the lobby bar with the views of the river, Jann recommended the Nordes gin, which we absolutely loved. It was definitely one we’ll be having again.
The food and drinks are definitely on the expensive side, but we enjoyed them and felt they were worth it for the overall experience. It’s not somewhere you’d go every week, but for a special occasion or a relaxing break, it’s well worth it.
Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely come back.

Thermal village lovely tho wouldn't stay again

Thermal village is lovely and really enjoyed it we stayed over cottage was lovely but there is work happening in the car park and we were woken by workmen just after 7am which wasn't ideal when we had planned for a lie in. Really should have been advised of work as would have changed to main hotel

Vouchers not valid for all services

Couldn't fault our accomodation or spa facilities. However extremely disappointed that a pre-bought Galgorm resorts voucher was unable to be used for the Wood Pecker take away outlet. Had this been made clear on the website we would have made alternative dining arrangements.

I am, however, very sorry for the disappointment caused by being unable to use your Galgorm voucher at the Woodpecker takeaway outlet. I completely understand your frustration, particularly as you had purchased the voucher in advance and would reasonably have expected to be able to use it towards your dining during your stay.

Class place, really overpriced

Galgorm resort is a lovely place but it’s so expensive it’s ridiculous. 1 bottle of corona, a G&T and a Panini at the pool bar was £43.90 unbelievable. Totally Ridiculous. £17.50 for a G&T £9.95 for a bottle of corona. Apart from that the place is lovely. Staff are friendly. Kelly at reception stood out. Really helpful. Rooms are lovely. Spa area is class. I liked the free ice pops. Hot tubs could be warmer. Disappointed at dinner time at Gillies Restaurant to be charged £5 for a jug of tap water. Are they serious or what. Dinner was nice but the water took the biscuit. £8 a pint at the bar. More expensive than London and Dublin prices. Really nice place but I’ll not be back. RIP off to be honest.

Had a lovely stay at Galgorm.
Spa was great with plenty to do
Very relaxing atmosphere
Great food in both Gillies and mckendrys
Stunning grounds and location
