Perfect.

Safe Habour Inn is a great place to stay in Fowey. Near the bus stop and with parking in front. The marriage that leads him is extremely attentive and they are seen to be surviving by his business. It is a very cozy inn with wonderful views of Fowey. Breakfast is very good too. The truth is, I haven't had a complaint. Although I do not know a luxury hotel I have felt very comfortable and almost better than any 5-star hotel. The only thing I didn't like was carrying my heavy suitcase down the stairs. But it has a perfect value for money.

Disappointing

Well the location was quiet and good at the top of the town....but after that not too sure what to say. The reality does not fit the information provided. On the way in from the car park there was a dirty leaking drain. Staff were uninterested. The carpets were dirty and ragged.
There was no wifi and no restaurant as advertised and no heating. The breakfast was basic. The cooked portion was fine but the toast was burnt on one occasion and there was no fruit of any kind available.
Not good value for money

Not the best

Stayed her for two nights on business. Don’t do breakfast until
after 8.30, too late for me. Didn’t do food in the evening on Tuesdays - the night I stayed. Tiny car park was full and couldn’t park. Room not as nice as the photos, up bird poo stained outside metal staircase at the end of the car park to get to your room. Bright green exit light kept the room lit up all night. Unfriendly welcome in the bar when I arrived from locals - not the staff. Good points - great spot to explore Fowey, good tea/coffee facilities.

Beautiful views, comfortable, quiet, and windows that open!

We had a great couple of days here in the summer. Our room had an extraordinary view over the rooftops of the town to the river. You could watch the ships arriving and departing, some of them surprisingly big as this is still a working harbour. Bedroom was comfortable and very clean. The rooms are above the pub, but we had no problems with noise at all, and the pub is great. Everything in Fowey is within easy walking distance.
Best of all: you can open the bedroom window, fully! Such a refreshing change from so many UK hotels that only let you get a centimetre of fresh air.
Breakfast was fine.
The hill back up to the hotel from the centre of town is very steep, so this might be a problem for some.
Overall, highly recommended.

A great stay!

A great place to stay with parking included. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic and plentiful. The rooms were as expected for an old building, but centrally located for all that the town and harbour has to offer. Would definitely return.
