Great location, affordable apartment for a large group. Metro link directly outside the door to connect you to Newcastle. Apartment in great condition and would recommend this place.
Check in was difficult as you need to communicate with host over phone to retrieve the code to access the key but apart from that it was great.
Security deposit usually scares me from booking with places as i have been scammed before but rest assured there is no scamming here, with the host very kind when spoke on the phone.

Disgusting vomit left on carpet
Terrible experience with cleanliness
Booked as pay at property the manager called and demanded money 3 days before or we where cancelling the booking. We paid the full amount
Then we travelled to the apartment the the demanded £150 for damage and CLEANING deposit. we paid again while we where standing outside the property in -1 temp for 30 mins trying to gain entry.
We entered and there was vomit down the back of the bedroom door and carpet. The bathroom had not been cleaned, the oven was disgusting and the bins where not emptied.
Whe. We call straight away we received a text saying the didn't send a cleaner before we arrived. We arrived at 6pm.
We left the apartment and booked a hotel as it was disgusting. We where told we would receive a full refund. When going through booking.com for a refund the manager said we arrived before the check in time this is why it was not cleaned. Check in was 3pm not after 6pm when we arrived.

Unfortunately, my experience staying at this property was below par. Two main issues, when I arrived the apartment (1) smelt terribly of damp, probably mainly to do with the fact that no windows were able to open.
I also found the apartment to feel quite unsafe, with the main building door only supported by a very wobbly Yale and an emergency exit fire door from one of the bedrooms straight outside which is also felt very unsafe during the night.
With these two main problems, there was also a major issue with the WiFi. I was there for over a week and unless there was nobody else in any of the other apartments, it disconnected all the time and couldn't use it to video call stream online or watch anything on the TV either. I think overall it would be fine for groups having a get together for a night or two but apart from that, my experience (of apartment 1 anyway) was not a good one for a longer stay.

Scam
Disgusting company took money out of my bank account through booking.com which was never booked in the first place by me..
I think it's a fraud company or booking.com is frauding out of money..either way disgusting attitude from staff and management when I tried to explain the circumstances which I can't understand as who ebr made the booking did not turn up to the hotel/hostel,explain that as I'm confused no compassion no reason and no way forward just like booking.com.
And then to say they're spoke to me on the phone the day the booking was made and it's a complete different number I have...

We stayed as a group of 8 ladies, we we watching a show at the stage making this apartment the perfect location. Directly outside the metro station, with a few minutes walk. The apartment had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend
