Excellent find
What an excellent Inn/pub with accommodation. Lovely welcome by the staff. Rooms are spacious with excellent views and ensuite facilities. Bed was very comfortable . The food was excellent and big portions. Great value for money. Parking is fabulous. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thank you so much for making my 60th birthday a special one. Highly recommend this place

Great Weekend
This was my second stay at the Wellington I meant to leave a review last time but for some reason never got around to it.
Nine of us stayed Friday till Sunday four couples and an extra friend.
The food was excellent two breakfasts and two evening meals no complaints at all.
The staff are superb, all of them, they were very friendly and very polite and very efficient. Bar staff , Waiting staff Cleaning staff and Management.
At the evening meal on the second night one of our group accidentally knocked over a glass of Red wine the staff were there immediately as if out of thin air. The spill and broken glass were dealt with and they were gone like nothing had happened it doesn’t seem like much but I was very impressed.
I think the lady who served breakfast was reading our minds because everything we needed was delivered to the table almost as we thought about it, again very impressed.
This is also a very busy pub, but the service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was excellent
I am pretty sure this wont be my last stay at the Wellington Inn.

Really pleasant couple of evenings
We ate here one evening while passing and the food and staff were both excellent, so much so we returned the next night. The views outside and the warm welcome made for two great visits

Disappointing ...
Visited the pub for Sunday lunch and unfortunately left feeling very disappointed due to multiple overcharges on our bill.
We (5 of us) ordered sides (mash and parsnips) with our Sunday roasts and were charged £28 for them. The waitress became confused with our order and never explained that we had apparently been given an additional double portion of mash because of a delay with the original order — yet we were still charged extra for it.
When we challenged the bill, we got nowhere.
We were also overcharged for a third soft drink, despite it being the same as the other two ordered.
As visitors to the area, this really left a poor impression. Our meal, soft drinks, and just one alcoholic drink (a Cruzcampo lager) came to £183.50, which felt excessive given the issues with the service and billing.
We strongly recommend checking your bill carefully. Sadly, we won’t be visiting again.

Another visit. Another stay. Another wonderful time.
Our second stay at this wonderful place. Still felt homely. Food was still amazing. The welcome was good. The location still suits our time in Yorkshire. This time we went to the train station at Hornbeam Park near Harrogate. Free parking and a lovely train ride over the Knaresborough viaduct and into York. Before it was ideal for Malham Cove. Just a great place to stay.
