Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at dog friendly: The Victoria, Holkham.

Had four nights in a Shepherds Hut which is convenient for access to Holkham Beach. The hotel provides complimentary parking at: Holkham Beach Car Park, Wells Beach Car Park & Holkham House Car Park. However, we did not use our car, instead we walked to Holkham Beach & nearby trails every day.
The Shepheards Hut was clean & comfortable & just five minutes’ walk from the Victoria where breakfast, lunch & evening meals were taken in the light & airy orangery.
We enjoyed all our meals & the excellent service provided. Our dog also enjoyed the sausage he was given at breakfast time, so much that we had to add some to his regular dog food to get him to eat it.

Excellent room and food as usual

We have stayed at the 'Vic' on an annual basis for many years whilst crewing for a major triathlon event within the hall grounds. However, there's never been any downtime to explore the local area during event week. So I booked a 3 night B&B stay for my partner's birthday for a more relaxed opportunity to experience what the area has to offer.
The Vic delivered on all counts: beautiful rooom (20) with excellent food and it was great that several staff recognised us from our previous stays despite being in 'civvies'. Special mention to, I assume, Housekeeping for the surprise birthday creation in the room on our arrival!
It was a pleasure to take our time and relax into the surroundings. We'll be back at a different time of year to experience hopefully a quieter visit to local towns and villages, as Wells in particular was crazy busy (school hols).

An excellent stay at The Victoria

Once again a lovely stay at The Victoria. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The food was really excellent and lovely comfortable and clean room.
Cannot wait until our next visit

Great Family Stay

We stayed here with our 18 month old daughter for the night and enjoyed breakfast and dinner too. Everyone working at The Victoria was attentive and welcoming especially with our little one. The food at The Victoria is always delicious and whilst eating here feels like a nice occasion it's not excessively formal - children and dogs are both welcome making it feel more relaxed. We had such a lovely stay and hope to be back soon - we love the area (I've been visiting since I was child) and we stayed on the Holkham Estate during our Honeymoon.

Lovely bar staff.

We called in for a drink and a snack, mid-afternoon. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was excellent. The smoked salmon sandwiches were delicious.
