Great B&B in Inverness

Fantastic B&B in beautiful Inverness. Great service, nice rooms with high standards and really good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Nice but I wouldn’t stay here again….

Cute house close to everything in Inverness. That’s the good part.
Now for the other side…..
1st morning hubs was asleep and I was heading to the bathroom. A housekeeper knocked on the door, came in and said she “desperately needed” (her words not mine) supplies. Seems they keep cleaning and kitchen supplies in our closet.
Okkkaaaay….
10 minutes later I’m IN THE SHOWER. They desperately need in the room AGAIN.
By now, I’m mad.
And concerned someone would decide to bust into the room in the middle of the night. Not likely but it still bothered me and kept me awake.
Unacceptable.
Unprofessional.
And very uncomfortable.

Magnificent Moyness

We stayed at this lovely establishment for 2 nights and it was a very comfortable, enjoyable stay. John and Tracy were very welcoming and helpful. Tracy served as breakfast each morning and is just a lovely person. Both she and the owner John are well-suited for dealing with the public. The property itself is gorgeous and maintained to a high standard. Comfortable room (we had the room called Silver Darlings - ground floor room). Very quiet and we slept well. The location is excellent - great for walking everywhere. John provides all guests with a 20% off coupon for Une Fois Encore, which we took advantage of - highly recommend. We would certainly stay here again if we have the good fortune to be back in Inverness.

Very average.

We arrived early but were allowed to check in by the proprietor John. The room itself was clean, but the furniture was crammed in so there was not much space around the bed. The tea and coffee facilities were welcome but the tv was small and had no terrestrial channels. We were relaxing in bed when we had a knock on the door by the proprietor’s girl friend asking if anyone was in, she then knocked again and CAME into the room to ask if we were in the correct room.
We were only staying for one night so didn’t make a fuss. The bathroom was sufficient with a shower and a bath. Breakfast was good, especially our server who explained my wife’s gluten free toast was made in a separate toaster. The highlight of the breakfast was the eggs which come from their own chickens. Overall it’s a lovely building but the rooms were very average.

A lovely place to stay

We stayed in a room with 2 double beds as there are 3 of us. Beds were really comfy and everything smelt really nice. The bathroom was really lovely, a fab bath and shower, some toiletries there. Really nice fluffy towels. Room has a fridge with water and milk in. As an extra touch, we had flowers and a bottle of wine for my mum's birthday which was so kind! When we checked in, John let us know some good places to eat and got us settled. It was friendly, clean and cosy. Would highly recommend for a stay in Inverness. Oh also very yummy breakfast in the morning Thank you!
