A super hotel on a country estate. The most polite and helpful staff I think I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Super fresh cooked breakfast. Nicely appointed room with climate control.

A wonderful stay
We stayed at the hotel to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday with family and our bulldog, Daphne. From the moment we arrived, all of us, especially Daphne were made to feel genuinely welcome by Martin and Gloria and reception staff. They showed us around the hotel, and every member of staff was attentive and friendly.
Our dog friendly room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared, complete with a cosy dog bed and bowls. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice for everyone, and Daphne was even treated to her own sausage.
The grounds of the hotel are stunning, it even has a Woodland Walk, along with a farm shop just a 5 minute walk away.
We had a wonderful stay, if you are travelling with a dog, this hotel goes above and beyond. We will most certainly visit again.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable. Dinner was great and excellent breakfast.

Lovely
Beautiful hotel, food nice but they did overdo the onions on all the salads. The dining restaurant menu we found lacking and pricey but opted for choices from the bar menu which were much more reasonable . Excellent attentive service, knowledgeable wine waitress

Fairytale Wedding
When we first started searching online for a wedding venue from abroad, we reached out to several places. From our very first interaction, Crathorne Hall stood out. They were warmer, more accommodating, genuinely excited for us, and simply made us feel welcome in a way none of the other venues did.
We had narrowed our choice down to Crathorne Hall and one other venue, so we flew to England to visit both before making our decision. The moment we visited Crathorne Hall, the decision was made. They absolutely blew the other venue out of the water, it wasn't even a close comparison.
Planning a wedding from another country is no small task, but we booked Crathorne Hall for exclusive weekend use and planned both our welcome dinner and wedding entirely remotely. Aurora was extraordinary. Every email, every detail, every question, every last-minute request was handled with professionalism, kindness, and incredible attention to detail. She made us feel like we were the only wedding that mattered.
The entire team deserves recognition. You can genuinely tell they love what they do, and that passion shows in every interaction.
Alan was our Master of Ceremonies, and although we had only met him the day before the wedding, you would have thought he had been planning it alongside us for years. He completely owned the day, keeping everything flowing effortlessly while making everyone feel relaxed and cared for.
Gilmar and the entire restaurant team were equally phenomenal. The food was impeccable, beautifully presented, and every course arrived with perfect timing. The service was flawless, attentive without ever feeling intrusive, and many of our guests commented that it was among the best dining experiences they had ever had.
The hotel itself is simply magical. The grounds look like something out of a fairytale, the accommodations are beautiful, and the character of the building speaks for itself. We hardly needed to decorate because the venue is already stunning.
Everyone tells you that your wedding day will be stressful, that you'll barely have time to enjoy it, and that something will inevitably go wrong. That couldn't have been further from our experience. Because of this incredible team, we were completely present throughout the weekend. We laughed, celebrated, spent quality time with our family and friends, and truly enjoyed every single moment.
Our guests are still talking about the experience. They haven't stopped telling us it was the best weddings they've ever attended. That is entirely thanks to the people at Crathorne Hall.
If you're considering getting married here, don't hesitate. This team doesn't simply host weddings, they create unforgettable memories. Our weekend was nothing short of perfect, and we will be forever grateful to every single person who made it possible.
