Stayed for my partner's birthday, all the staff were lovely on check in and ever helpful throughout our stay.
The room was nice, bright and clean and was also a good size.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again!

DO NOT STAY HERE
DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL IF YOU NEED TO WORK. I arrived at the hotel and planned to stay for 5 nights as I was working for a week in Liverpool. When I got to my room and connected to the internet it was so slow nothing would work. I did a speed test and the download speed was not the usual 50 or more mbps that you’d expect in a hotel but 0.48. I walked around the hotel with my phone rather than my laptop to test the speed in different locations around the hotel but the speed was terrible everywhere. I complained to the on duty manager and he said he would re-set the Internet. The speed was equally as bad everywhere. I asked the manager to transfer me to a different Hilton in Liverpool and was told he couldn’t as the Doubletree was a franchise and not owned by Hilton. I said I would have to move to another hotel as I have work online. He said to speak to the manager in the morning. I booked another hotel and checked out of the Liverpool Double tree - only to be told that the manager had refused to give me a refund and no reason was given. Not just a refusal to refund last night but a refusal to refund the remaining 3 nights.
I’m outraged. My advice is that if you use the internet for work, do not stay here. They will take your money and not provide you with a service that you require

I am genuinely sorry to learn that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the hotel’s Wi-Fi service. I fully appreciate how important reliable internet access is for guests travelling on business, and I regret that the connectivity available during your stay did not meet your requirements. Following your report, our team attended your room promptly, investigated the issue and undertook troubleshooting measures, including resetting the network equipment. Alternative solutions were also offered during your stay in an effort to improve your experience; however, these were declined.
With regard to your request for a refund, reservations made through third-party providers remain subject to the booking terms and cancellation conditions agreed at the time of purchase; following a review by the management team, it was determined that the reservation remained subject to those terms, and this outcome was communicated during your stay.

We were put in room 606. If they try & put you in this room you must refuse. The window only closes by a hook screwed into the sill & directly outside the window are all the air conditioning units along with the extractors from the kitchens. The noise from these goes on until well after 11pm. This room should not be given to the public. Also there are caps missing from parts of the shower so you can see the fixings

As soon as checked in hotel staff very helpful had teen son with asd adhd with me they treated him with respect and explained everything regarding checking into room meal in restraunt to ordering room service if more comfortable with needs and access to breakfast buffet. Highly recommend hotel would book again for another stay

Fantastic hotel a brilliant spot close to shops, restaurants and bars. Hotel is immaculate. We will definitely be back soon.
