Amazing

What an amazing stay we had here , stayed over night in our motor homes and had a meal , staff were wonderful , very helpful and polite , what can I say about the food but wow , it was amazing and we will defiantly be back , we would highly recommend , thanks to all

60th birthday weekend

Just to give Matty and team HUGE thank yous for going above and beyond to cater, for what was a fabulous 3 day stay and party celebrations. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, always polite and helpful. I can be quite a taskmaster so I had high standards these were all accommodated by staff and fabulous food. Thank you for allowing my family and friends to enjoy your establishment. Lots of fun and making memories

My wife and I dined there one evening during our stay locally. Very friendly staff, busy restaurant, very tasty food.

Ideal friendly establishment

Lovely welcoming establishment very friendly staff and locals , food was excellent rooms were just as advertised, clean and well presented
Would book again and will if I have to return

Alpha Male Overload.

On a Tuesday night, my friend and I met here for an evening meal and a catch up. I parked my car and entered through a side door of the building into the restaurant area by mistake. It was my first visit after all. The restaurant felt like a library and I was clearly intruding.
After finding the bar area, I was surprised that there was no staff there and that the pub was so rowdy. It felt like there was a big sporting event. Alas several men were making a huge racket and the staff were absent. After a few minutes a young man appeared and took my order. I ordered a Guinness cold and got served a Diet Coke!
A break down in communication clearly and I was aghast by this point. My friend turned up shortly afterwards and we ordered our meals. Cheesy garlic bread to start for us both. My friend ordered the 8 oz rump steak medium rare and I ordered lamb from the specials board. Approximately fifteen minutes later, Felicity brought our food to us.
Both meals came with mashed potatoes, vegetables and a small pot of rich gravy. The steak was unfortunately well done and disappointing. My lamb chop was very good and cooked to perfection. What spoilt the evening was the rowdy behaviour from the bar area. The men lacked social awareness and were very disrespectful. They also used inflammatory language and showed no respect, courtesy or consideration for others. We had to continue our conversation outside on the benches. A couple also got up to leave, shaking their heads in disbelief.
