Lovely food, bench seats need screwing on

We were staying locally at Felmoor park and ventured on a dog walk out for lunch. Everything we had was lovely and we all enjoyed our food. It was a sunny day so we sat in the garden. The benches need securing as they are simply placed on the frame and our two kids flipped backwards as the seat tipped off (they weren’t hurt so it was comical but could have been different) service was friendly.

Ok meal

Pie was nice but veg disappointing. Peas and carrots. No mash. Worth 60% of price.

Excellent food and staff were very welcoming.

Booked to go here for our final night of our holiday and we had a brilliant meal, quality and attention from the main guy Lewis? and his staff. We had scampi/ 2 lamb casseroles & one liver & onions and all so good and extremely tasty. Even though the chef is there until 8pm when we asked for two crème brulees and Lewis managed to get two, beautifully presented in a china cup with shortbread.
Wonderful last meal for our family thank you. Reasonable price for the quality.

What a let-down

We had booked in advance and arrived on time at SEVEN pm. The welcome was fine, main courses excellent. The waitress cleared the mains and we decided on our desserts from the board. We were in no hurry so we talked and talked. Eventually we wondered what was happening and asked for someone to take our dessert orders. We were told we were " too late as the chef had GONE HOME".
Apart from the embarrassment we had for such a let- down in front of our guests, this was a significant stupid loss of revenue for the pub.

Underwhelming Experience

Stopped off on our way further north. Disappointing experience, drink served in a dirty glass (my pet hate). Food was underwhelming, really poor quality. Hopefully this was just a one off for the venue.
Such a shame as staff were very friendly.
