Clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short city break.
We stayed in a Comfort Suite for 1 night. The location was excellent, close to shops, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, cinemas and transport links to Central London. The bus stops almost right outside the building and the train station is within a walkable distance.
Access to the building was via a coded gate and coded main door (some steps up to this). Both were easy to navigate. Once inside, the entrance was clean and tidy and rooms were well signposted, The room was also accessed using a code. It felt safe and secure.
Our room was on the front of the building and, whilst there was noise from the traffic during the day, at night this wasn’t an issue. I’m a poor sleeper and I slept for 7 hours without waking up, the best night’s sleep in ages!
The room was clean and well equipped, with a kitchenette and excellent fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable with fresh, white bedding. Lovely bathroom with powerful shower and spotless white towels, toilet paper and shower gel. Good wardrobe space, big TV and small dining table. Everything you need for a short city break.
We have booked to stay again but for 2 nights next time.

Disappointing stay — cramped room and poor customer service
We booked for two nights to attend a social event but ended up checking out early. Problems started at check-in, as the access code for the main property didn’t work and we were stuck outside for a while before finally getting in.
The room itself was a split-level “suite” that was simply too small. Downstairs had a kitchenette with the bathroom leading directly off it, plus a table and two dining chairs. Upstairs was a joke, the small double bed was tucked into the sloped eaves, making it genuinely unusable for anyone of height. My husband is 6’3” and couldn’t stand upright, get in or out of bed properly, sit up, or even get undressed without hitting the sloping ceiling.
There was nowhere comfortable to relax in the whole space. The TV was downstairs so no breakfast in bed and the only seating felt more like a GP waiting room than a hotel room.
If all you want is somewhere to crash for the night, it might just about do. But if you’re after a relaxing weekend away in a spacious, comfortable room, avoid this place.
When we contacted customer service to ask about moving to a more suitable room, it was a frustrating back-and-forth that dragged on for two hours, only to be told no other rooms were available. We ended up checking out and luckily booked a lovely hotel elsewhere that same evening.
Overall: uncomfortable room, and customer service that made a bad situation worse )-:

We asked for an earlier check-in as we were going to a wedding.
When we arrived at 2 pm we couldn't get in, nor could we find out if check in was going to be imminent so we had to leave & get changed in the church carpark & check in the early hours of the following morning. I mistakenly thought the red brick building shown in the photo was the hotel but it isn't - the Lime rooms are situated in an area behind this building through a coded gate and its literally a complete building site.
You cannot check in or gain access until they send you your code.
I wouldn't use them again as for us we had a timed event and you just can't plan around 'your request for an earlier check in has been noted'
We had 3 rooms, all were different in design and level of cleanliness. Nothing awful ...if you don't mind the odd hair & shabby paintwork in places, but that was the worst of it. The other 2 rooms were fine.
Parking is available in nearby residential roads, but setting folk & luggage down & picking them up at this venue is awkward.

The AC was broken ie the back came off when I moved it aside. The bathroom had the water pipe broken for the shower. Other than that very good for the price! Area was fine although some area was rough with homeless people. Other than that I was satisfied.

South London Sanctuary
It’s hard to find a decent place to stay in South London and the suite here was immaculate. I need to be in the area to visit a family member and this is ideally located.
