Misleading Listing .Very Deep Basement
Additionally, there is indeed a window in the apartment, but it is a blind window facing a dirty, neglected stairwell, which further reinforces the feeling of being completely cut off from any normal living conditions. The fact that the apartment is clearly and noticeably far below ground level, deep under street level, was also evident due to a very characteristic, unpleasant smell that was present throughout the entire space.
This is not a minor detail, but a crucial piece of information that is very important for many people, especially elderly guests. The access to the apartment was dirty, neglected, and looked like it was still under renovation. The steep stairs and a makeshift wooden railing created a very negative impression and did not provide a sense of safety.
If I had known that I was renting an apartment located so deeply underground, in a true basement far below ground level, I would never have chosen this offer. I believe that the lack of this information in the listing is misleading to customers. For this price, I expected above all an honest and complete description. In my opinion, this apartment is not worth the money. I do not recommend it and I will definitely not use this offer again.
To support my review, I am attaching several photos that show the actual condition of the access to the apartment and its location in a deep basement. The photos clearly demonstrate that this important aspect was neither presented nor described in the listing, which may have misled future guests.
