Concerned after reading reviews!

I booked this hotel on hotels.com where the reviews were 7/10!
My daughter mentioned these reviews a few days before we were due to go so to say I was concerned was an understatement!
We had 2 nights booked. Checked in ok. Our room was ok, clean. Bathroom clean - apart from the shower!
Mattress was more firm but wasn’t rock hard as others had suggested.
The room was absolutely roasting though. One crappy fan in the room that was on 24 hours!
Didn’t realise that you could hear the thud of music until the small hours. 5 minute walk to Wembley stadium.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU’RE GOING TO A CONCERT AT WEMBLEY

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. We had tickets for Bruno Mars on Saturday 18th July and when we arrived at the hotel were told that our room had been cancelled in February and the hotel was overbooked by Expedia, I booked and paid in full in January, we’d had no notification of the cancellation or refund, which should have happened in February when they say they cancelled the room. It appears this is a common practice with the hotel when there are concerts on at Wembley Stadium. There was another couple at the hotel who had been told the same thing. They sell the rooms for higher prices. I am now trying to get a refund but when I called their customer helpline the lady I spoke to couldn’t find my booking. Expedia are now trying to confirm the cancellation although I keep getting messages from the hotel saying we hope you’re enjoying your stay, so it looks like the person we spoke to on the reception desk has marked us as having checked in. This looks like a total scam and a way to avoid paying the refund. I do have proof of homeward travel which took 4 hours, we finally arrived home at 2 am. This has happened to others who booked for Harry Styles and Coldplay concerts. See google reviews and please avoid

Do Not Book

Do not Book!
Let down with two days notice, offered a hotel that was miles away from where we needed to be.
Dreadful customer service as there isn't one, no one answering the phone.
Surely there must be some kind of governing body that stops a hotel doing this

DO NOT BOOK unless you want to be disappointed!

We booked in Jan 2026 and 6 months later ... 2 days prior to the event .... we were informed that they were full!!!! I suspect they made more money by cancelling our booking absolutely fuming as all other hotels near by were £300+ DO NOT BOOK!

Disappointing.

Booked this originally because I was going to see My Chemical Romance. Tried to cancel the booking as I couldn't go, and have been unable to cancel the booking.
I booked the room through the OYO website. The OYO website is badly designed and requests a OTP for cancellation of hotel rooms. However, it does not send you an SMS or email for cancellation.
I tried to ring OYO customer services through two different numbers - one out of service, one rung out.
I tried 3 different emails, 2 bounced back. The third I havent heard from.
I tried ringing the hotel directly and they told me I had to ring OYO.
It is not a good company to book through at all. I am extremely disappointed.
