Super pleasant hotel in a great part of London
Super pension like hotel situated in a lovely part of London. A friendly and helpful person when checking-in, decent clean room, the hotel looks like it has been reurbished, in any case very well maintained. Plenty of pubs and retaurants in the area, I ate the super Indian Paradise, well worth a visit. A short walk from Victoria undeground and and close to Victoria coach sttaion, with a giant size Tesco's close by. What more would you want?

The room was tiny and you couldn’t open a suitcase comfortably.
The curtains wouldn’t clip back meaning that I felt extremely uncomfortable with the window open but due to the heat and the poor oscillating fan I had no choice.
The shower room was clean, and the room was clean but there were marks on the bedding.
The bed felt like it was on a slant, and the headboard was wonky meaning that there was a large gap between the mattress and headboard so the pillows kept slipping down. Overall it was not comfortable. There was no additional pillows available in the room.
The host was polite and informative. Wonderful location and so close to Victoria Station.

Tiny! And hot! The summer London heat made this flat quite stuffy without air conditioning because of its extremely small size (the three of us didn’t have room to open our suitcases), location on the second floor, and inadequate oscillating fan. Very nice manager/owner, though—super friendly.

If a plain white box containing a broken bed and a smelly bathroom is acceptable, this is your place.
The hollow core room door is probably from the forties, including the lock, or lack thereof. Besides not being at all secure, I refuse to believe it has any fire rating at all. I will say the doors were in great condition for their age, and the little 'fire door' that is exactly the same material that blocks this room and another from the hallway in an incredibly claustrophobic alcove is the same material. I thought these places were inspected for safety, but this would suggest otherwise.
There is a bathroom that looks like it was redone recently, it would be fine except for the incredibly noxious odors coming from somewhere. It was much too strong to have just been coming from the adjoining rooms. So, I would strongly suggest you bring your own water for drinking and keep the bathroom door firmly closed at all times. I wish I had left the exhaust fan on all night to see if that would have helped.
Speaking of fans, I was there on the hottest day of the year and the small tower fan was not up to the task. Nor could I open the ground floor window for obvious safety concerns.
I could mention the very loud trucks loading or unloading outside my ground floor room at six in the morning, but this is too much.
If you need a somewhat affordable room for one night close to Victoria Station and have a strong stomach, maybe this is for you.

Needs Improvement....
We arrived around 6.00 pm. Greeted by a nice gentleman, George. George said he was only there for night duty. Since then, we had not seen nor able to have contact (phone or otherwise) with any staff member. Room is cleaned daily. Double bed is about the size of one and a half of a single bed. Not comfortable though the mattress was good.Needs improvement ! No chair nor a stool in the room. No litter bin in room. Had to use the little bin from the toilet. There are 2 public bathrooms - clean. On my first night, the shower flow was small - more of cold water. I tried the other bathroom on the 2nd night - it was good. On the 3rd night, the good bathroom was locked, therefore had to use the previous bathroom. No change to the shower flow!!. Very disappointed...Location is great
