Great value for money

Downstairs was a lovely airy space with different places to sit..squishy sofas and a huge tv with streaming,polished wooden floorboards.There was also a shady courtyard with lots of tables and benches.The rooms were pretty basic ( ropey beds in the twin room and could have done with a more adequate bathroom curtain in the private double bedroombut it is cheap for the location( 20 mins walk from Olympia)Nice breakfast too!

Very nice stay

Very nice hostel with friendly personal.
The most things are running Very good, sometimes they forgot to clean the beautiful garden place.

Highly Disappointed by the Lack of Honesty, Misinformation and lack Professionalism.

We are extremely disappointed with our experience at this accommodation. When we booked the room, the listing clearly stated that the room included a private toilet and bathroom, which was one of the main reasons we chose this property. However, upon check-in, we were shocked to discover that there was no private toilet or bathroom at all.
This was clearly misleading and false information. When we raised the issue with the staff, they did not apologize or try to resolve the situation. Instead, they blamed us and said it was our mistake, even though the listing was very clear during booking.
Because of this misinformation and the poor customer service, we were very uncomfortable staying there and decided to leave the property immediately. Despite this, they refused to provide any refund.
This experience was very frustrating and disappointing. We would not recommend this property to others due to the misleading listing and lack of professionalism in handling customer concerns.

Overall it is worth the price. Toilet is mixed gentle but with very small shower area, and without body shampoo provided. There are new bathrooms in the underground level for ladies. Sorry that on the last day of my stay I smell Cannabis in the bathroom. Not every bed comes with power plug but you can always find one at the corridor or power plug extension at the bed near to the entrance. Breakfast is amazing, unfortunately I didn’t get the time to arrange the dinner but I believe it could be well served. Strategic location, 5 mins walking distance to Earls Court Tube station. If to give one suggestion, I wish to enforce no shoes in the bedroom.

Safe and comfortable

I had a lovely stay at St. James. The location is very good, close to lots of places.
The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. And they keep the rooms and common areas nice and clean.
Breakfast is generous and if you register for dinner in the morning you can get a plate of decent food for dinner.
The only drawback for my was that there is not a dedicated quiet workspace for holding meetings.
As a remote worker that was a challenge for me as I meeting with clients sometimes several times per day.
