Close to everything we needed

Fantastic location for us was easy access to everything we needed whether that was train station, parks, shopping or restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy.

Great Budget Hotel In The Heart Of London Paddington.

This place is a budget hotel but is in a great part of London which is accessible to other areas. Paddington station only a 6-minute walk away, plenty of buses nearby to other areas or London to go to. The area has plenty of shops, especially tourist ones, cafes and restaurants. Little convenience stores that are open till about 11pm/12am. Also these tourist shops so lovely souvenirs, especially items to do with Paddington Bear.
The hotel itself is very good. Room we had was a triple room the one single bed and a double. It was very clean and spacious. Had a lovely fan on the wall which is pretty powerful. The TV you can stream channels via a Roku. The ensuite bathroom is very clean and modern inside. They do provide tea and coffee making facilities. Beds are extremely comfortable and the bed sheets are very clean.
The breakfast is a continental breakfast with toast, different cereals, yoghurts, cheese and ham, filter coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Very good quality. Also in the breakfast area there's a lovely painting of London on one side of the wall.
The staff here are very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
10/10 rating from me and my wife.

Deplorable.

Worst possible place in every aspect. Dangerous because of the carpet and because it is inclined to the ground. With the emergency exits locked .It is distributed on many floors with twisted and carpeted stairs in narrow corridors. They don't treat the clientele well either, it must be for the shame of keeping it open yet.
Quilts and air extractors as well as fans appear to be snowed in from the dust layer they contain.
I think a homeless shelter will be better taken care of.
I would never repeat.

Overnight stay and picked one of the cheapest I could find in London. Worth the money BUT it was hot in London and the fan they provided in the room just didn’t cut it. I would have kept the window open all night but couldn’t as it was too noisy with traffic and police sirens, planes etc. I appreciate that’s not the hotels fault, but they need air con in all rooms. Never been so hot in all my life even with fan on full all night. It was sweltering and kept waking up dehydrated and having to drink. Breakfast was chaotic with a tiny room for dozens of families to dine in. We had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and be able to eat and then the milk was warm and there were no glasses. The bed was comfy and the room was ti t but had everything needed. Bathroom miniscule but almost immaculate and looked newish.
Cheap and cheerful and you get what you pay for, but still…needs air con.

Clean room, organized, great location. But there are things missing that have made my stay less enjoyable, for example: the lack of a mini fridge, I couldn't even buy a bottle of cold water because there wasn't anything in the hotel to keep it cool, and it was an awful situation considering the weather, extremely hot. The lack of air conditioning or ar least decent fans. There was only one fan in a room for 3 that was almost breaking.
Besides theses things, I really enjoyed the stay, the location is the best part of it. I would have liked it a lot more if I could have had these simples things: a fridge and better fans or air conditioning. Would come back only if they added these things. If they don't, I'm not coming back.
