Turning a difficult issue into a memorable stay...
The Manager (Ecatarina) was extremely professional (as you would expect), but over and above this, handled the issue with genuine warmth and understanding (not just the normal cold professional service you sometimes get in these situations). Whilst we went and had breakfast (having arrived early in the day), she made sure this was provided complimentary. It turned out the hotel received a cancellation and we were able to enjoy a wonderful stay. They even provided a bottle of champagne for my birthday...
An abject lesson for any service business in how to turn what could have been a terminal customer relationship into one where my loyalty to the brand has only been enhanced.
A shout out too the lovely Abba in the breakfast room, who was delightful. Genuinely warm, professional service. Also to the Italian waiter in Brasserie 108 (apologies I can't remember his name) who is always very pleasant.
All in all, the Marlebone is a high quality hotel with some lovely staff - further cementing its position as my "go-to" hotel in London

First class service with a personal touch.
The Marylebone is in an enviable position on a quiet road in Marylebone village but moments away from Oxford Street. The bedroom was really quiet , a well stocked mini-bar and a coffee machine made the room a peaceful getaway from the city. I particularly liked the mini bottle of fresh milk for hot drinks.
The bar has bespoke cocktails and the bar manager was really helpful in advising me in which one to choose.
I am so pleased I have found this hotel and I will be back.
