Lovely Family Run Hotel
I had a single room which was lovely and clean and a good size .
The Breakfast was lovley!! Kept me going until dinner .
I used The heated pool which is a good size and warm .
The staff are friendly and make you feel at Home , There is nice Bar with adjoining pool room .
I will definitely be back again Thank you everyone.

Pine Lodge
Bed was great comfy along with pillows.
Location was perfect.
Only stayed for 1 night but we'll come back.

Not the best
We were given a family room, (double bed and two bunkbeds), but we were travelling as a couple.
The room was disappointing:
1) Horizontal blinds at the window - no curtains. So light streaming in.
2) No bedside lamps.
3) No plugs on the headboard/bed side of the room.
4) Tower extension on top of side table
5) Mini Kettle with electrics in base. So had to take whole kettle into bathroom to fill it.
6) Radiator in room, but not turned on during summer months. (it was raining on the day we stayed and we had got caught in the rain).
Breakfast was also disappointing.
7) Had to make you own drinks. Hot water and a teabag for your cup were provided.
8) Check the bread before you toast it. I checked the brown bread and it didn't look good.
9) The food was cooked, but the sausage was deep fried and not pleasant. The cherry tomatoes were supposed to be oven roasted. They didn't look like they had been.
We went to the bar in the evening and ordered lite bites from the menu. These were better.

Photos are incredibly deceiving
Dirty tables & seating areas.
Pool was certainly not heated. Too cold to stay in for the little one.
Overcrowded, despite me having to book in advance.

Damp and dirty room 10 of the Annex
We headed out and did not return untill midnight when we then realised our clothes that were hanging up were all damp , the beds very cold from dampness and there was no way to dry anything as the heating is off contrary to the sign in the bathroom telling you to use a towel rail that you can't turn on.
Under the beds were filthy , top of the head board filthy, inside the dehumidifier filthy all things that takes 2 seconds to clean if you put the effort in. During the time we were in that room I had to empty the dehumidifier 4 times which would amount to about 1L of water
We woke up early next morning my family were weezing and had a dry cough from the night we had spent in the room. I complained right away spoke to the manger Lea who spoke to me with her arms folded and assured me I would receive a "FULL" refund and said a few times this would happen automatically through booking.com.
It's been 3 weeks now and we have learned she has the audacity to charge us for the nights stay and suffering her damp hotel. She lied about the full refund and she lied the previous family had wet the carpet but if you look on trip advisor or booking.com reviews it's a constant stream of complaints of dampness but her audacity doesn't stop there by 1500hrs of that day she had rented it back out again to continue to deceive people. The Annex of this hotel needs knocked down and she knows it but that doesn't stop her skimming money off people visiting the area.
I tried a few times to contact she ignores emails and won't call you back she gets her staff to do that as she won't face the criticism. The management just says go through booking.com for a "partial refund" when to your face they agree to offer a "FULL" refund.
Mark and avoid this place I will never be back and I would not reccomend it to anyone ever.
