A lovely trip down memory lane
Having spent our honeymoon at The White Hart 45 years ago, we decided to take a trip down memory lane. Despite the changes over the years, we were not disappointed and enjoyed a wonderful three-day stay there. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was second to none and the standard of the food was very high. The meals, and especially breakfast, were beautifully presented and delicious. Our room was comfortable and quite spacious, with a much welcome fan provided to cope with the heat, and it was serviced well. We particularly enjoyed the balmy evenings sitting in the picturesque garden, with the stream running through it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

A beautiful Pub/Restaurant/Accommodation of destination tucked away in the Cotswolds.
We chose to stay for my wife’s birthday and were also able to take our dog with us which was a complete bonus. The extensive pub garden and outside dining area was tidy clean and regularly serviced by the staff. Our room was well equipped and the treats provided for our dog were a lovely welcome. We had an evening meal which was prompt, beautifully cooked and presented. Breakfast was equally good. The staff were helpful and attentive providing a great overall experience. I would highly recommend this venue tucked away in the Cotswolds.

We’ll be back
We stayed over night after attending a wedding nearby. We arrived to early for check-in but they were helpful taking our bags and putting them in our rooms for when we got back late. Beautiful and comfortable in a beautiful setting.

Friendly, tranquil, characteristic and gorgeous little English pub
What a fabulous place to stay. We were welcomed by the lovely owner, who was super friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, as were all of the staff. The pub itself was full of character and very cosy. The restaurant area is well decorated also and a lovely place to enjoy a fabulous meal. Our evening meal was lovely! we would recommend eating there, even their sandwiches at lunch looked incredible! Our breakfast in the morning was excellent, I would highly recommended paying for breakfast if you stay well worth it! The surroundings of the pub are very beautiful and tranquil, with a great bustling atmosphere in the beer garden, but not rowdy. The beer garden is situated on a lovely stream with a bridge, very pretty. Our room was gorgeous, very well decorated, lots of character and very comfortable and clean. It has a kettle and a coffee pod machine, as well as an iron and hairdryer. Also came with a flat screen T.V with Netflix and Prime. The bathroom was also lovely and very clean. The room was quiet, we slept very well. Even with the beer garden over the road, we heard nothing with the windows wide open. I'd say it is very much worth the money and very well priced for the experience of this beautiful, charataristic, friendly and quintessentially English pub. There is plenty of parking with 3 separate car parks. Castle Combe was only a five minute drive away, or a 40 minute walk and it has lots of other chocolate box type villages surrounding it. We were very surprised at how easy it was to get and Uber in such a secluded place, but managed to book 3 in one day on a Friday. We will be back, and would highly recommend this gorgeous pub to anybody.

Lovely place to stay
Beautiful location with stunning walks close by. The room was nice and clean with high ceilings. Tea/coffee facilties but no mini fridge to keep milk cold. Could have done with a fan as its so hot at the moment. We had a fabulous meal at the restaurant really good quality food & drink but service was quite slow as they were understaffed.
