Peaceful, excellent holiday apartment in a gorgeous country setting 5 minutes from Rye

Peaceful , quiet environment . Fantastic for a relaxing reset getaway. Acres of grassy fields to stroll around with lovely views
Apartment lovely with all you need to self cater. The fresh eggs as a welcome, along with other goodies, were a lovely touch. Great Bosch coffee machine (well stocked with capsules) for those who love their coffee aswell.
We visited chapel down. And as rye was on the doorstep getting a taxi so we could enjoy the wines wasn’t an issue aswell. We sat outside one of the evenings enjoying the rabbits bouncing around and drinking the wine we had bought at Chapel Down.
Only couple of small thing to note.
Outside area though great , could be spruced up to take it to the next level. Chair and tables but the area itself with an old wall and gravel could be made into a more atheistically pleasing to sit in.
We love dark rooms and given we were visiting when the days are long , the curtains give privacy but don’t block any light. So take some blackout eye pads if you like it dark
That is only a tip though as I know many other people who love to be up with the lark.
Value for money, facilities, location and setting overall are fantastic and that gives it the excellent rating.

Delightful apartment in peaceful setting.

Delightful apartment in a beautiful peaceful setting. The apartment is well appointed, with everything we could have wanted. It's very close to Rye but without the crowds. Would definitely visit again or recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Charming character property.

Rented two apartments for family when visiting for a wedding and were more than happy with the charming accommodation and additional extras including quality stocked welcome hamper and good sized rooms. Plenty of parking in the grounds set in rural location.

Lovely peaceful place to stay

We had one of the 3 appartments on this site and loved it. It was clean, welcoming and had all the amenities we needed. Our appartment (The Loft) had kitchen, dining area, bedroom and bathroom all on one floor, plus a sitting room upstairs. The weather was baking, but it was beautifully cool and peaceful. The appartment was very well equipped and we were also surprised that a few provisions had been left for us too - very welcome indeed! A lovely site and highly recommended for anyone wishing to explore Rye / Hastings etc. The local village is in easy walking distance with a shop and pub with restaurant.

Another perfect weekend!

We have just enjoyed our third visit to this lovely place! Peaceful relaxation at its best! Comfortable accommodation with a welcome box of treats, fresh flowers on the table and a friendly greeting from the hosts. Just love our stays here, highly recommended, and we will certainly return!
