Would happily stay again when visiting the area.
The staff were really friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had a really peaceful room even with the windows open, we were located to the side of the building. Breakfast had a good selection. Overall it exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. If anything the only letdown were some of the other guests who were quite rude to the staff, I think they seemed to have forgotten they'd booked a budget hotel.

Another corporation shi---ing on it's customers.
Booked a Premier plus room,booking number confirms.£295 for 2 nights,no breakfast or dinner. Turn up today and was told no Premier plus rooms available. How is that possible?. Given the usual runaround,call the company, the company say the manager will deal with it. Manager not available. Put into a room, stinking of Dettol though I've had to clean all the touchable surfaces as sticky..Ripped bed sheets,Hair in the shower. Reception not interested. Never again Premier. Messed around too many times.

Average stay
I found the staff very friendly within the premier inn. We asked for an iron and ironing board and nothing was too much trouble. The toilet could be a little cleaner as there was a rim of mould/ dirt around the top. Window seals were not the cleanest.
The breakfast the first morning was great at the old bell pub on site. The female was lovely and very accommodating, However the second morning was not so great. There were lots of items on the cooked breakfast menu unavailable which I found very bad considering we had paid for this already at the time of booking. That part was not value for money as my kids then left hungry as just having sausages.

Disgusting food but pleasant room
I booked a Premier Plus room - be advised, all the Plus rooms are upstairs and there's no lift. The room was very big, very clean, and sufficient for my needs with a fairly comfortable bed. The bathroom only had a very small amount of mould in the grouting. The aircon was very effective and a fan was provided. The coffee machine was half full of water and looked grubby, and the glasses had watermarks and drips, so I didn't use them. It seemed to have been renovated relatively recently.
There's a lot of parking outside but very few disabled spaces, unfortunately, and they were used as parking and drop off/pick up spots more than anything. If you need a disabled spot to park I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
There's a strong, unpleasant odour outside of the hotel, which I assume is the drains in the hot weather. It was pervasive but you can't smell it once you're inside, so it's largely avoidable.
The drinks machine in reception is overpriced and double charged me - there were gaps inbetween items, meaning I paid for an item but one wasn't dispensed. I'd recommend avoiding using it.
The breakfast was utterly revolting. The continental was fine (though the selection was smaller than usual Premier Inn breakfasts), but the hot was gross. Poached eggs cooked in vinegar and not drained, meaning everything on the plate was soaked in vinegar - and, for that matter, massively overcooked so they were basically just boiled. Bullet hard sausages. Cold beans watered down with the egg vinegar. I didn't bother with breakfast on my second morning despite pre-booking it and paying for it in advance because it was just so, so bad. Either just have continental or don't bother, the breakfast was disgusting.

Decent rooms but terrible breakfast
Friendly staff, but noisy front from bins and staff talking and smoking. Terrible breakfast - I might stay here again as it is convenient, but would not have brekfast here again.
