Pre cruise stay and hats off to James!

The highlight of this hotel has to be James in the restaurant. Polite, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable James went above and beyond what was expected, whilst still ensuring all other guests needs were dealt with. He provided useful information with regards to our upcoming cruise and pointed us in the right direction with regards to shows and bars. An absolute credit to the company!
Location is ideal for walking down to the marina, it is a nice twenty minute walk past numerous bars if you want to stop off for a mid way drink. Room was Premier Inn's usual date, clean and comfy. Only downside to the room is no air con, though 3 fans were provided and we were aware of this before booking.

Central location but very tied !

Had to book this hotel as our usual was fully booked: although a central location the hotel is extremely tied and in urgent need of a refurbishment: no air conditioning and our room was 30 + degrees on arrival: a fan was provided but this was in effective and you couldn’t really be open the window to cool the room down, due to the security device: the room was in need of a revamp as the furniture was falling to bits and the carpet looked like it came from another (smaller ) room, toilet seat was hanging of the pan: there are lots of hotels in Southampton so l would look at others before this one: central location but l think Premier Inn play on this fact:

Over rated budget hotel. Our room was in need of air conditioning.25+Celsius in our room.Two fans going no relief.Temperature outside 19.
Dirty and noisy location.

A nice stay for the price. It was very hot outside, but the hotel had provided the room with not one but two fans! Making it easy to get the room to a better temperature.
The area around the hotel was a bit boring.

Noisy and hot room

The room was one of the smallest ive stayed in for premier in or similar chain hotel but fine for one night , although tired decor etc it was clean. I appreciated the choice of pillows.
An attempt had been made by the hotel to keep the room cool by providing 3 electric fans which helped initially but were too loud to leave all on over night. The room was stifling hot. The cargo trains also kept us awake as they intermittently passed near by from about 3 am onwards. I appreciate that cant be helped by the hotel but i would choose another location next time.
