Good all round spoons

Was rammed when I came here last, but for good reason.
Cheap food, meal deals, cheap beers with lots of choice. Plenty of seating, booth, table, outdoor, sports screen views and orders can be done on the app to save wasting time queuing at the bar.
Our food was good. Went for the small plates deal and a jacket as well were hungry.
Halloumi fries are great
Toilets are better than they used to be.

Food was good prices were cheap, bear in mind Weatherspoons are now bound by the crazy 1 cup sugar tax rule on Hot Chocolate so no free refills on that item as advertised on their menu.

Great Value as ever.

A little noisy but it was Saturday evening.
But what's not to like at this Wetherspoons pub with such great prices.
The staff work very hard and it's always kept tidy and clean.

A perfect stay!

A perfect stay! I was checked in by Ellie. She gave me excellent customer service, and it was a hassle free experience. The room, well room 107, was great, it was clean, and the bathroom was amazing. Would definitely recommend and stay here again, providing I can get room 107! Thank you all involved.

I was charged £109 for a room I never ended up using as it was so unsuitable

I rarely write reviews but felt I need to do so especially as I choose this pub based on some of the reviews written here, but I had a very negative experience. I'd checked in for one night on a Friday in August and prior to arrival was told there would be maintenance work taking place. To be fair I should have investigated this further with the hotel, but I thought it probably wouldn't be too intrusive. When I arrived there was a builder outside my window on scaffolding looking directly into my room and with a radio blaring. I had specifically asked the hotel for a quiet room as I struggle with a health condition and need to be able to rest properly, or I experience severe flare ups in chronic pain, so this was really important to me. When I came back to the room later on, the builder was gone but the noise from the pub downstairs was incessant. The pub wasn't due to close till 1am and a note in my room said building work was due to begin again at 8.30am. There is no reception at this pub which makes it very hard to find any help or assistance. In the end I actually decided that given the condition of the room and the unbearable noise, that I would head back to London that same evening rather than stay over. I wish the hotel had been clearer about what to expect and at least charged a reduced rate given the disturbance. The room itself was clean but the pub downstairs was utterly rammed throughout my visit and was a very rowdy place. This might work for some people but not for me - never again!!
