Great stay

Lovely quite place to stay very helpful staff, great food, great for people with or with out dogs, very body who stay there spoke to you, but you do need to book for meals

Cobwebs throughout the bedroom and bathroom. A layer of dust in the mugs in the room. No shower curtain or screen so try and wash and flood the bathroom.
Described as dog friendly but not a patch of grass available for late night wee’s.
For the price we paid it was very disappointing
Then to be kept up at night by the domestics happening in the room next door just topped it off

Lovely little place in beautiful Stiffkey. Bed was SO comfy, and lovely to have a balcony. Food delicious and amazing breakfast. Bath with a hair shower, so judt be aware, if difficulty getting in and out of the bath. Thank you for a lovely night's stay. Also, beautiful little stream opposite with a little walk we'd recommend.

Lovely guest room with sunny balcony overlooking fields.
Breakfast was very good but we didn’t eat here in the evening.
Staff were friendly and easy to park near the accommodation block.
Overall a great stay in a beautiful area close to Wells, Morston Quay & Blakeney.

Disappointing

In a nutshell - grubby, poorly maintained by seemingly uncaring management and staff. How this place gets some 5 star ratings is beyond me. I wouldn’t class my self as picky by any means, but if service, or a product falls below decent standards I should expect, then I will call it out. Basic standards of house keeping are just not adhered to here - dust on external sill of windows, ( I actually wrote “muck’ in the dust lying on our bathroom window sill) I wish I’d have taken a pic and shown on here. Screws sticking out the decking of the balcony. The wire balustrade on both the main landing and on our balcony was festooned with cobwebs. The bath radiator was full on, when we arrived on the hottest day of the year, consequently the whole apartment was like an oven. We assumed this would go off in the evening, but no, for some reason was on all night and no way of turning it off. I did mention it to the young woman of about 24, who seemed the most senior person on site and she got someone to turn it off and got the screws sticking up out of the decking sorted. I did mention to her about the cobwebs, but that seemed a step too far and that request fell on deaf ears.
We did have meal here one evening - the “Sicilian’ paperdelle which was sweeter than a chicken tikka masala, way too much sugar in the tomatoes, I know some chefs use some sugar to balance the acidity of the tomatoes and give a more tomatoey flavour but this was ruined.
As there are no adequate blinds (which were also dusty) to block out the early morning light, we rose early on our second day, missing breakfast (which was the best bit of the stay) and drove home, sadly never to return.
I say sadly, as although the block of apartments does resemble 60’s Butlins chalets, it could be so much better if only the management cared about basic standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
