Dated and dirty but great location!
The room was huge and had great views. The bar and food were good. The location couldn't be faulted and parking was easy. This is where the good parts end!
The carpet has so many stains it could have been a murder scene and the chairs in the window area had an equal amount of stains.
The vent in the shower cubicle was last cleaned in the 1980's ! The windows in the room and the Pool area were also last cleaned then also!
Once I saw how bad the windows were I decided to not try the pool area.

However, we are disappointed to learn that the condition and cleanliness of certain areas of the hotel fell below the standards both you and we expect. Check in was smooth, nice gentleman checked us in. Room was large and sea view, bathroom sink was disgusting, no bath/shower mat, dust in extractor fan, shower cubicle was small, just as well we are not large people.
Bed was very uncomfortable. Shatter cushions were stained and very dirty, Small fan provided however the only sockets useable were over the far side of the room! No teaspoons in the room. No water provided, ice machine in the corridor but no bucket to put the ice in! Curtains were dirty as was the dressing table stool. No smart tv, just a fee freeview channels. At 4pm we went to the bar for food, to be told there was no chef! Even though it states food available. Breakfast was ok, had to wait 15 minutes to be seated as no one around. Coffee was lukewarm, not idea first thing in the morning. For the price this hotel is not worth it. It needs more staff and cleaning needs to be improved dramatically. Do not waste your money, I'm sure there are better hotels. We wont be staying again.

Generally, a clean hotel with vacancies, although prices increase over the weekends. Stayed here several times and would use again in the future. Loyalty discounts would be a benefit.
