5 Star Luxury Boutique B&B

Highgate House is a luxury boutique bed and breakfast in a prime location opposite Pannett park. It is in a quiet spot just a 5 minute walk into town and all Whitby has to offer.
Jonathan and Louise are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble! On arrival we were given a complimentary parking pass and a glass of bubbly.
We stayed in the Spring room, it was gorgeous! The room was spacious, beautifully decorated (Louise has definitely got an eye for interior design) with a lovely en-suite. It was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy! The complimentary tea, coffee, bottled water, biscuits and toiletries were refreshed every day.
The breakfast is brought to your room on a tray each morning- a delicious spread of baked goodies, fruit/smoothies and warm bacon rolls complete with fresh orange juice, a pot of tea and a cafetiere of coffee.
Jonathan and Louise are a friendly couple that will happily give suggestions and recommendations for your stay in Whitby and surrounding area. Our highlights were the Abbey, walking the Cleveland way to Robin Hoods bay, Runswick bay, Staithes, Thornton-le- Dale, Goathland and the NYM steam train trip to Pickering. All these are in easy reach of Highgate House. There are many restaurants in Whitby our favourite was Pizza West and The Homestead in Goathland.
Highgate House is excellent value for money and the best luxury B&B we have stayed in!

Enjoyable weekend away

Jonathan and Louise were so friendly and welcoming from the start. We felt so welcome in their home and had such an enjoyable stay. The house and bedrooms are stunning and it felt very special to be there. The breakfast was beautiful and really set us up for the day. We were lucky to enjoy it in the garden too. We will defo be returning and have told all our friends about our stay already.

Perfect Highgate House.

Highgate House was exceptional, from booking (special request made and brilliantly carried out by jonathan) to the last day. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious, and very clean and comfortable. Breakfast , taken in the bedroom, was fabulous.

We have stayed here many times and the location is very central
The house is stunning, rooms are beautifully decorated and the best we have ever stayed in, so clean and the beds are wonderful
Breakfast is delivered to your room which is a real treat
Service is exceptional & first class
The hosts Jonathan & Louise are really friendly and make you feel very welcome

An amazing stay at the beautiful Highgate House.

We have just had a fantastic stay at the beautiful Highgate House in Whitby .This place is just exceptional in all aspects.
We were warmly greeted by the wonderful owners Jonathan and Louise who could not have been more attentive and helpful . The house is so beautifully decorated and is absolutely immaculate with great attention to detail .
We stayed in the Summer room and loved the sitting room and stunning bathroom . One of the most comfortable beds ever! A fabulous breakfast is delivered to your room ; so fresh and completely delicious! Be hungry ; we could not eat everything .
Coming back to the house is lovely;lamps and candles lit, so welcoming .
The only downside is having to leave;we will most definitely be returning .
