Excellent accommodation and location

Would highly recommend this lovely little pub for accommodation. Think only 3 rooms which was perfect for me and the family and very secure . Rooms were very nice and clean with excellent on suite facilities. The staff are friendly and I liked the way you checked out. Yes there was a bit of noise from the locals but is adjoined to the pub and the locals made you feel very welcome though . We would definitely come back and this is only 3 miles from Worcester

Do no reccomend at all. Terrible

This has got to be the worst ever place I have stayed at. On arrival the person who took payment before we saw room complained about her manager leaving her with no correct staff and she hadn't had time to clean etc etc which was off putting to start off with. On first look seemed not too bad. We went to eat then went back to room then realised lots wrong. Shower head and door broken plus not the cleanest. Loo seat loose. Bathroom door handle coming off. Unable to plug kettle in as flex too short so had to plug in next to bed. Bedside lamps covered in dust inside and out. Cup marks on window sill and black marks on walls in various places. All in all totally unacceptable in many ways. If I could give zero rating I would. We told the person when we gave back to the key and she said 'well I only work her. I will pass it on' its was a very small room which we could have coped with but the uncleanness of it was terrible and low maintenance. Very very bad.

Clean rooms, nice pub, good value for money

Stayed here for two nights last weekend with my partner. Great location, close to M5.
Excellent value for money, clean rooms, great atmosphere in the pub, good choice of “pub grub” on the menu at reasonable prices.
Breakfast was lovely!
Lovely garden with plenty of seating and two TVs outside to watch the football.
Definitely recommend and will stay again.

Don't drop Anchor here

A last minute booking for one night to break our journey from Brittany Ferries port in Plymouth to West Yorkshire - wish we'd picked somewhere else.
From the approach, the ''Food served all day'' and ''Freshly baked Pizza'' signs and a tidy car park make the place look inviting. Once inside, it's a different story. ''Kitchen Closed'' sign on the bar is a permanent fixture - they haven't had a chef since May! Drinkers at the bar appeared to snigger as we checked in as though to say ''Here's another couple of suckers''
The room, approached from what can only be described as the fire escape, was adequate at best - a single converted to a double. The Shower room, recently re-styled by the looks of things, had a tiny shower cubicle accessed by a sliding door, the doorway only just giving enough room to squeeze through. No hot water from the wash basin, until the following morning, and a constant humming from either a boiler or some other electrical item below the room all added to a forgettable experience.
We left shortly before 8 in the morning - nobody around, they don't have to be - there's no breakfast to prepare, even though, to this day, the booking.com site boast that a full English/Irish breakfast is available.
