Amazing staff

Amazing food! Amazing staff! First time I've been to this pub and I couldn't praise it enough. The food was top notch. When I'm next in Worcester we will definitely be back. Thank you so much ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very Poor

Rooms very outdated!
I understand the hotel is a listed building and that's why there's no air-conditioning but could have done with more than 1 another fan !
In the write up for the rooms it states wardrobe which turns out to be a shelf with a metal rod.
The worst and most worrying thing is we couldn't open the window due to each side being screwed into the frame. There was a sign on the window about safety which to some extent I agree because we were on the 1st floor yet the rooms either side of us could open their windows! If there were to be a fire on that corridor how would the occupants of the room get out!?? Very worrying indeed!
Would i stay there again NO!

As a historic listed building, there are certain restrictions on the alterations we can make, which unfortunately means we are unable to install air conditioning. We do provide fans in our rooms to help improve comfort during warmer weather, and we're sorry you felt this was insufficient during your stay. We'd also like to reassure you regarding your concerns about the windows and fire safety. All of our bedroom windows are designed to open and comply with all relevant British health and safety and fire safety regulations. Some windows may have restrictors fitted for guest safety, which can make them appear different from others. In the event of a fire, the designated means of escape is via the marked fire exits and corridors—not through the windows—as required by UK fire safety procedures. We appreciate your comments regarding the room furnishings and understand that our traditional rooms may not suit everyone's preferences. Your feedback is valuable and will be taken into consideration as we continue to improve our facilities while preserving the character of our listed building. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best for your future travels.

Perfect location for seeing the town. Clean rooms with tea, coffee & basics supplied. Friendly helpful staff on rect& in the pub. Good breakfast

We stayed 2 nights in room 8, it was OK, if a bit tired. It was clean and had all we needed. Stairs down into the ensuite bathroom were a bit of a challenge in the night. Shower over the bath was a step over in and out - a handrail might be helpful. Staff were friendly. We didn't eat here, we did use the bar. Location is good - nice bars and restaurants close by. No parking on site. Overall it was OK for the price.

I love this old property unfortunately the mattress in room I stayed in had seen better days and the springs could be felt which led to a very uncomfortable and sleepless night. I had booked for 2 nights and had to leave early the first morning to find alternative accommodation. The manager was on annual leave but tried her best to rectify the situation upon return.
