Wonderful reality

Discovered by chance during a tour in Aggius, we stopped for a tasting in the middle of the afternoon where the kindness, passion and availability of Mr. Giancarlo allowed us to know much of this beautiful land to the point that the next evening we returned for dinner! I don't describe the appetizers, the cold cuts, the cheeses and the spectacular artichokes in oil..... Great piglet.... Characteristic location but above all a lot of passion and humanity that make everything more good and particularly pleasant! Thank you Gianfranco and Caterina!

Gallura "Soup" TOP!

The farm inspired by the Sardinian historical novel known as "Il Muto di Gallura" consists of a structure of great wildlife, naturalistic interest: we happened upon a cold day "marzolino" and were pleasantly welcomed by the fireplace and a finely laid table just for us. There are alternatives at a fixed price between 50 and 70 euros for the menu, which is also à la carte: we had the opportunity to taste excellent homemade cold cuts and cheeses, on pane carasau, the surprising "zuppa" Gallura (not "spoilero": try it and you will not regret it!) and pig with potatoes, sweet and sour wild boar, as well as typical biscuits. Really all delicious and with good service. We left eager to return soon! Thank you.

Not to be repeated

Not recommended! The only good thing was the water!! The food was heated and the rude service then it was cold it was terrible.

Very high price

We are sorry to have to give a not great opinion to a potentially great place: the rooms are well furnished and the bathrooms are functional and clean, the food is great. Unfortunately, however, we must point out that one of the mattresses in our room was too uncomfortable as it was old and sunk. This defect has ruined the holiday for those who have slept there..... it is heavy shortcomings, and in such an expensive structure it is not acceptable that the quality of a mattress is overlooked. Too bad, because otherwise it is a beautiful place.

The Mute never disappoints

Il Muto is confirmed as one of the best farmhouses in the area, if not the best. In addition to the magical place where it is located, what makes the difference is the welcome and the pleasant feeling of being treated as guests and not as tourists. All the staff moves to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The food, all homemade, is of excellent quality and is also served in large portions, the encore is proposed for each course. Truly an experience not to be missed to immerse yourself in the culinary tradition of Gallura. We will be back very soon, recommended!
