Lunaris with the family August 2026
Very beautiful luxury wellness resort in the beautiful Aurina valley! The person is really kind and eager to help you have a very beautiful vacation! I would like to commend the spa team, especially Patrizia who gives the aufguss ceremonies! She is passionate, she loves what she does, she radiates a very beautiful energy! There is also Stefano who is very pleasant and professional! Patrizia's daughter is also great! Frankly, the spa team really gives a beautiful image of this double luxury hotel. Actually there is Amonti & Lunaris. Each hotel has its own restaurant, its own suites, and a majestic, huge spa for both. We stayed 8 nights in a magnificent suite, the Sky suite, equipped with a private jacuzzi and sauna. The food is also excellent, with fresh, local products that are beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, there are many children whose parents are very lax. In concrete terms, you get bumped into at the breakfast buffet, and meals are sometimes noisy because of the screaming and crying of these children who are apparently allowed to do anything! The hotel is aware, but does not do much to somewhat curb all these excesses. The hotel also knows how to acknowledge its mistakes. They made a mistake one evening with a dietary restriction but were generous and respectful afterward. We think that some restaurant staff members should receive more in-depth training. Also, some guests feel entitled to come in swim trunks during the evening meal! And some children walk around barefoot in the restaurant; all of this is unacceptable for a five-star hotel! It is a real shame, because the establishment is magnificent and the wellness services are of high quality. There are a huge number of high-end relaxation areas that truly invite you to relax! Thanks to the Lunaris team!

You feel relaxed here immediately!
We spent an extraordinary vacation here in July. We had booked the Family Bio Suite, which was perfect for our purpose. There are two separate bedrooms with a double bed and an adjoining bathroom for each. From every bedroom and the living room, there is a passage to the balcony with its own hot tub. The rooms were clean and everything was modernly furnished.
The multi-course menu in the evening was always our highlight, especially the desserts, since the hotel employs three pastry chefs. The restaurant even has its own cheese room. The service and the wine advice were also excellent; here I would like to especially highlight the lovely Andrea from the restaurant. There is also always a morning newsletter where we got inspiration for the day; here, the staff and their favorite places in the Ahrntal valley are suggested. The hotel offers guided hiking and e-bike tours for various needs and fitness classes, and you only have to sign up for very few classes - so you have no appointments or stress because you might prefer to do something else after all. The wellness area is located in the adjacent Amonti Hotel, and there is an underground passage that connects the two hotels. Even the path to the Amonti is beautiful and relaxing with a quiet atmosphere, and there is nothing that disturbs the eye. Finally, I would like to praise the special bar at the Lunaris, where Max (the cocktail creator) works and conjures up any cocktail you could wish for. Even ones that are not on the menu.

Always surprising
We have been going back there for 18 years and I can only say that everything is top-notch. Always in search of quality and renewal. But I must emphasize the availability and kindness of the entire staff and the family. Absolutely a must-try.

Best wellness hotel far and wide!
We traveled as a family and had booked the SkySuite (72 sqm) for my husband and me, and a Bergfeuer DeLuxe double room (36 sqm) for our 19-year-old son. The amenities leave nothing to be desired, cleanliness top!
The food was outstanding, best quality, drink selection super great, as was the wine list.
I had a Dr. Joseph facial and a back massage, also Dr. Joseph, both of which were of the highest quality.
Our son also had two treatments and was very satisfied.
Fitness room very well equipped; spa area as well, although we mainly used our private spa in our suite; including a dream view over the Ahrntal valley.
An all-around successful vacation and we will definitely come for skiing in the winter.
