Lovely holiday in an exceptional hotel. We will return

HOLIDAY IN THE AURINA VALLEY.
We have been going on holiday in South Tyrol with my wife for years. A magical region for its nature, history, territory, population. For more than 20 years we discovered the Ahrntal Valley, a quiet valley because it is closed, without the pass and we discovered in the historic center of the capital Cadipietra a hotel, the STEINHAUSWIRT, to which we immediately became fond. It is located in the complex that is part of the Mining Center from which all copper mining activity was governed for at least 600 years.
The careful management, with traditional style, effectively familiar made particularly pleasant by BARBARA and ELMAR was a reason for great satisfaction so much so that ten days of September 2025 flew away. Needless to dwell on the excellent cuisine, the pleasant and spacious room available, the possibility of enjoying a large garden. Great pleasure is offered by the possibility of going easily to suggestive destinations: from the mines of Predoi, to the waterfalls of Riva, to the path of San Francesco and for the more willing the Rifugio Roma, the Pizzo dei Tre Signori, the lake of the lock.
An enchanting experience enhanced even more by the stay, the low cost, the Steinhauswirt, the attention of Barbara, the kitchen of Elmar.

A nice 10-day holiday in a cozy facility

Strategically located hotel in the beautiful Ahrntal Valley, just a few steps from the bus stop and the Klausberg cable car. My room was spacious, bright and clean. Great breakfast, fantastic dinner. Staff always friendly. Satisfactory value for money. I will definitely be back.

Stay in Valle Aurina

The structure is centrally located in the Valley so excellent base for beautiful excursions. My wife and I stayed there in August (this is the Third party year in a row) with Half Board Processing and as usual we were really good. Our room was equipped with all essential facilities, very clean quiet and comfortable. The kitchen (in my opinion a real strength) and 'was really excellent .It starts in the morning with a hearty and varied breakfast buffet. While in the evening dinner is served a menu with different courses, all of excellent quality and attention to detail. We ate really well. The staff was always kind and competent in meeting our needs.
In short, ours was a nice experience . This is definitely a hotel to recommend.

Excellent family management!

Structure to prefer to others for family management, cooking and services.
Choose larger rooms with balconies.
Covered garage.
Village with church and characteristic cemetery and nothing more; on the side entrance hotel there is a supermarket provided.

amazing steak

We had this place recommend by a local friend. We had reserved a table and the place was full on Valentine’s Day. Not a very big, with maybe 5-6 tables but we found good service, good food and reasonable price. The local wine was pleasant and the pasta aglio olio fine. But the pepper stake, well that was just perfectly medium rare, tender, incredibly good, well worth it.
