Beautiful campsite with points of interest

Actually a campsite as it should be no marked out pitches, nice under the trees.
Only the plumbing needs a big refurbishment, and cleaning leaves something to be desired
The location in relation to Alberobello is fantastic
On the bike a little under 10 minutes

We were passing through Alberobello with our Camper and .... we wanted to stop one - two nights in zona.La reception closed with the sign TORNO SOITO, in fact comes after a while 'a gentleman and polite in his directions, but was washing bathrooms and showers and did not 'seem a good WELCOME.SE THAT OF THE RECEPTION does the cleaning of the bathrooms, means that we are quite behind with servizi.Quindi we thanked for his courtesy but we preferred to go elsewhere, Too bad, because 'the place seemed cozy.

WELL PLACED CAMPSITE TO VISIT ALBEROBELLO

Kind Welcoming and in French. The pitches are not defined, not delimited; free choice of place, so it is very quickly anarchy. The toilets are a little old but clean. No hot water in dishes. Quiet environment (avoid being too close to the nearby tennis courts). Obviously too expensive: 34,00 € with the ACSI card.

Great value for money!!

We stayed in a cottage with the little girl! Very quiet and cozy .. equipped with basic necessities: towels, a small fridge, blankets and mosquito nets on the windows! Attention and remember to bring your phone and mosquito spray!
Great location is 5 min drive from Alberobello

Okay, we thought better.

As soon as we arrived we checked in very quickly and were immediately escorted to our Bungalow. The cleanliness inside was not great, especially with regard to kitchen utensils, as at the end of the stay each guest has to wash them and in my opinion they are not subsequently washed by the staff (which is quite gross because you can not know if a person washes things properly used). Another big flaw is the shower: the “overhead bracket” was broken, so you could not hang it and you had to take a shower holding it in your hand, uncomfortable, plus, the water temperature was not adjustable, you had to choose whether to get burned with hot water or freeze with ice water, no middle ground, terrible.
The noise didn't help either. You could hear anything from the outside, especially late at night children were playing screaming just behind the Bungalow and it was difficult to sleep. Also with regard to privacy there would be objections, the glass door is uncomfortable as you must necessarily always stay with the curtains closed otherwise anyone passing by will see what you do inside the house.
For the rest, the Bungalow in the end was nice and a fair compromise not to overspend, and still have a “house” with kitchenette etc. The camping is near Alberobello, but it is not true in my opinion that you can reach on foot, certainly not in the summer and definitely not at night. On foot it is about 30 min.
