The garden of Gallipoli
We discovered an enchanting place: the agriturismo Tenuta La Siesta is the garden of Gallipoli, shaded by centuries-old olive trees, pines, and fragrant with mint and flower essences.
Mrs. Mary welcomed us with great kindness and care, making us feel at home. She also delighted us with cherries, strawberries, and apricot and fig jams. The same goes for all the staff, always attentive to our needs and available at any moment.
We dined in the garden of the agriturismo among flowers and palm trees in a captivating atmosphere accompanied by pleasant music, where it is possible to savor authentic Salento cuisine while admiring unforgettable sunsets.
The agriturismo also has renovated rooms that are very welcoming and comfortable. We stayed in the simpler apartments, which still offer everything necessary for a tourist without particular needs.
Overall, our experience was very positive, and we felt truly well.

Negative experience
I strongly advise against this property. Unfortunately, the photos are misleading and do not correspond to reality. The "Lele" apartment we were assigned is very dated and neglected.
The bathroom lacks a bidet, and the shower tray has chipped tiles. The bedroom mattress has protruding springs. In the kids' room, there is only a dresser with broken drawers. In the kitchen, there are: one pan, one pot, and one small saucepan, that's it. There were five of us and we found: four forks and four knives. The television had a broken antenna cable; we pointed it out, but no one replaced it!. There is no check-in for the welcome. Upon our arrival, the keys were handed to us by the cleaning lady, Mrs. Mary, who was very helpful and kind, to whom we paid for the stay, but we were not given any receipt. There are no signs to reach
the property, only one completely faded sign. The road is rough and narrow. The value for money is inadequate, quite the contrary! If you can, avoid it!!!
