Charming place and very welcoming staff.
Very well-maintained environments in detail, starting from the trullo where I stayed, to the room and patio dedicated to breakfast in the morning.
Thanks to the nice weather, I was able to enjoy breakfast on the patio, and what can I say, between the wonderful and well-kept garden and the variety of choices between savory and sweet products (prepared by the owner), a feast of beauty and goodness.
Even those who welcome you deserve a mention for their friendliness, and I mean all the staff.
The very kind ladies serving breakfast, between one chat and another, also recommended the restaurants in Gallipoli.
Tenuta Monticelli is an oasis of peace for those like me who appreciate tranquility, so until next time.

Very nice facility.
Unfortunately, the pool was not yet usable, which we found very unfortunate, especially since the weather would have allowed it!
The breakfast was wonderful; it smelled of freshly baked cakes every morning!

To go back again and again
The rooms and trulli are simply wonderful, furnished in a contemporary and elegant style, without ever losing the warmth of authenticity. Everywhere there is an air of impeccable cleanliness, order and love for detail.
The real magic, however, is outside: manicured green everywhere, beautiful gardens, corners of peace that give a feeling of absolute well-being. The pool is beautiful and perfectly inserted in this dream setting. From here you can admire breathtaking sunsets and enjoy a truly spectacular view.
The location is perfect: a stone's throw from the sea, but immersed in the quiet and beauty of nature.
A special note goes to Salvatore and Anastasia, the owners, impeccable hosts, attentive, present and able to make you feel really special guest. In addition to her extraordinary welcome, Anastasia is also great at preparing breakfasts, which are simply exceptional.
Every morning fresh focaccia, omelettes, hot pasticciotti, fragrant croissants, all prepared with great care and with first choice products, awaited us. Cheeses and cold cuts of the highest quality, authentic and genuine flavors that make every awakening a small moment of happiness. Even the ladies who take care of the breakfasts are very kind and help to make the atmosphere even more pleasant.
Tenuta Monticelli is not only a place to stay, but an experience to live. A place that stays inside and where you immediately want to return.
And in fact, we will be back soon.
