A wonderful week in a great hotel
We are a family of four (kids 8 & 12 yo).
We found the location, service, cleaning and atmosphere in the hotel excellent!
Set in a pine forest overlooking a quiet beach, this hotel is perfect for travelers who want nature, calm, and views. Classic interiors, green surroundings, and direct access to one of Alghero’s prettiest bays. A few lunch restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away. For groceries, the closest shop is in Fertilia 3,5 km away.
Even in the busiest season, there is always plenty of space, both in the restaurant, on the beautiful dinner patio, at the beach, and in/around the gorgeous pool. Actually, the pool felt like a private pool, because it was always just a few people at the same time. New beach/pool towels every day.
The only three things I would change, are:
—menu/better variety of choices for lunch in pool bar/restaurant.
—better sound isolation for room doors; loud people in the hall can be heard into many rooms.
—softer beds.
I wish we knew the main restaurant had a separate children’s menu for dinner (we did not know from any of the information we got).
The local bus to capo caccia and Alghero worked great!
All in all, a wonderful beach hotel with charm, super service, the BEST location. and a great atmosphere. Switching from beach mode to pool mode takes only three minutes, thanks to the excellent layout of the hotel. We also loved the modest size of the hotel.

Great Sardinian Vacation
Great hotel on the beach with an amazing pool. Very convenient to have the beach chairs reserved for the stay. The staff are helpful some friendlier than others.

Would not recommend
The hotel was overall clean and the water is beautiful. It did not feel welcoming though, from the time we checked in it felt that there was just an added cost for everything. Additional beach towels, water, a sun bed, etc which didnt exactly make our vacation a great one.
1) when we went to the pool they called down to the beach to see if we had already gotten out allotment of beach towels for the day and vice versa.
2) the one day we went to the beach we were unable to get beach chairs even though they were “included” because the open ones were in the front row, we counted 9 open umbrellas with 2 beach chairs but we weren’t able to actually use one without paying
3) the housekeeping situation with towels is strange. One of my kids spilled water on the top blanket so we put it in the pile of dirty towels thinking it would be replaced, but it never was. They just remade his bed with a sheet
4) the drinking water situation also felt like a money grab. There was no where to refill your water bottles and if you asked to, they said you needed to purchase a bottle of water. Purchasing a plastic bottle of water is not exactly eco friendly…
5) the menus in the restaurants are very very limited and the timing of when they are open is frustrating that you need to plan around. There is no place to just grab something quick
6) also the rooms are tiny! Yes I know this is a European hotel but we have a “family suite” and we’re literally having to step over luggage the whole time because there was such limited space

Would never go back
The only nice part of the hotel was the beach. When you are standing in the water looking at the hotel it’s not what the website looks like. It looks rundown and old from the water. You have to pay extra if you want to sit in the first row on the beach. You also have to pay to use a towel at the pool. I don’t like being nickel and dimes. The whole lobby stunk like cigarettes. It’s supposed to be a family hotel but I wouldn’t bring kids there. The beds were extremely hard, walls are paper thin. We heard screaming and doors slamming all night long. The staff were extremely rude. The front desk staff were nice enough but not very helpful. All in all I wouldn’t stay there again.
