No washer and dryer- good location
The location works nice for the touristy spots of Old Town- just don't use Google maps to find it as it took us to the wrong bldg. Many perfect little restaurants are within walking distance, including the place you need to go for the included breakfast, which is just a croissant and coffee.
The stairs are very steep and narrow with a rope as a handrail which is NOT easy to use or to get bags up. Anyone with mobility issues could not use these stairs.

Deep nightmare
At check in a girl shows up who opens you remotely
Room without windows, bathroom a catacomb
1.5 square sofa bed had to sleep in two (ABSURD)
The jacuzzi was for all guests and not exclusive to my room.
In the area all to forget we were, not recommendable (and I add nothing else)
Forget it, look for more
Appearance is deceptive.

Bad experience
The breakfast that is passed off as such is simply a coffee machine with pods and some packed croissants from the supermarket!
The owner of the room did not sign neither to be found on the spot on the day of our arrival to give us the keys nor to be found on the phone when we had to call her because there was no water because in Bari old the problem of lack of water in summer is the practice but I think it is at least right to write this as a note to let tourists know!
What was rather unsatisfactory was the air conditioning that when you turned it on started an unbearable noise that did not allow you to sleep at night!
I think it was a pretty bad experience to have stayed in this kind of room!!!
Bari old is beautiful but you have to be careful where you stay for your holiday to avoid falling into these experiences of bad stay as mine was at the "gem".
Absolutely not Recommendation this "facility" to anyone!!!
