A tasty mountain fairy tale

We stayed in July in this hotel to be able to ski on the Livrio glacier.
We arrived in the morning and immediately felt at home in this cozy family environment, although arrived earlier than expected they made us find a wonderful clean, tidy, functional and cozy room with a wonderful view of the fascinating mountains of the Ortles group.
Our equipment we could leave comfortably in a storage room.
The thing that convinced us completely of the validity of this hotel is definitely the food: various appetizers, delicious homemade first courses and spatial main courses, not to mention desserts also handmade.
Highly Recommendation to anyone who wants to stay here at Passo dello Stelvio or surroundings this hotel because you will definitely not be disappointed!

If you want to sleep…don’t stay. The owners argue as loud as possible

Was so happy when I decided to stay overnight and enjoy the views. When it came to bed time, the owners were literally killing each other which started from 5 pm and were boozed up which I’m sure is a daily occurrence! All wanted a peaceful night in the beautiful mountains. Alas not this time.

To avoid

Average restaurant breakfast unattractive rooms not very clean, but especially not very clean waitresses who insult in front of customers and throw empty bottles at each other. We received some splashes during their fight. They were drunk, they continued until late in the evening. Unacceptable.

The Hotel Genziana is worth a visit

The Hotel Genziana on the Stilfser Joch is a wonderful family hotel. If you are looking for delicious food in a family atmosphere, you are in the right place here. It is worth mentioning that during our 14-day stay the menu always had new delicacies. In addition, individual requests were implemented perfectly. One member of our group was vegan; here too, the wishes were fully taken into account. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful and you feel very comfortable. Everything is positively accompanied by the owner, Mrs. Mirella. If we drive over the Stilfser Joch again, we will definitely let ourselves be pampered again at the Hotel Genziana.

Top view and cuisine!!

We stayed three nights in this hotel in the heart of the Stelvio Pass.
The mountains all around offer a wonderful panorama. The food was really excellent, the last evening dinner was top with bresaola and the best pizzocheri I have ever eaten. Generous portions! The owner is a helpful and very kind person. Thank you!
