A top-class birthday gift
A particularly positive experience. The entire staff is competent, extremely friendly, and very accommodating. The location is a solid 10 out of 10 and a
visit is worthwhile at any time of year. The food was haute cuisine. We will definitely visit the Santre again and enjoy ourselves.
Half board was included, an a la carte menu for lunch is available at the hotel bar.

The location and the fascilities are amazing at the Santre - thats what makes you want to comeback back again. Unfortunately the staff didn’t match up standard this time. A bit ignorant at dinner and not so present as you would expect at a five star hotel.

Only the chef is missing
Really splendid hotel with an incredible view of the mountains. Large pool, with entrance from the inside and hydromassage loungers. Our sunlit room was sufficiently spacious and functional with a walk-in closet and shower. Breakfast featured one of the most complete buffets we found, with the option to enjoy it on the terrace. Excellent location just over a kilometer from the cable car, a 15-20 minute walk (be careful as it is uphill, at times steep) or 5 minutes by car. Very convenient garage. The only downside was the dinner. First of all, it is geared towards short stays of 1 or 2 days, which likely represent the majority, with a buffet limited to raw and cooked vegetables that remains the same every evening and the option to choose from 3 menus, one of which is always the same, so after a couple of evenings it becomes repetitive, one vegan and therefore not very suitable for non-vegans, and the last one becomes the "take it or leave it." Definitely a bit lacking for a hotel of this level. Then the cuisine offered can be described as "international," it could be found identical in a luxury hotel in London, New York, or Berlin, with minimal influences from Italian tradition or, incredibly to say, from South Tyrol. I imagine this is intended to satisfy the majority of the varied international clientele of the hotel, but those who come on vacation in Italy do so also, if not especially, to enjoy the local cuisine, now a UNESCO heritage. Finally, I found an excessive presence of sweet flavor in the dishes and combinations and reinterpretations that were not always successful. In conclusion, a hotel that would deserve a return visit if only it offered a breakfast-only option, which unfortunately it does not...

Ci dispiace invece sapere che alcuni aspetti della vostra esperienza culinaria non abbiano rispecchiato pienamente le vostre aspettative. Il nostro team di cucina lavora ogni giorno con grande passione per proporre piatti che uniscono qualità, creatività e una reinterpretazione moderna dei sapori regionali. Ci dispiace che la nostra proposta non sia riuscita a soddisfare i vostri gusti; condivideremo comunque le vostre osservazioni con il nostro team, perché ogni feedback rappresenta per noi un’importante occasione di confronto e miglioramento.

An experience to relive.
A beautiful location, well taken care of, with excellent hospitality and dining. Particularly attentive to customer care, especially from Vivien, who assisted us during dinner.
