A Magical Experience with Beautiful People.

This morning we set out from Spoleto with our Italian language teacher from Arte Lingua to have a truly unique experience at Locanda Rovicciano with chef Andrea and his son chef Francesco. We were greeted warmly with coffee on the garden patio. Then, while we worked on our language skills, they gracefully guided us through the preparation of fresh, local ingredients with ease and humor. Finally, we all dined together talking, laughing and of course eating our amazing dishes. They spent over 5 hours hosting us as though we were long-time friends. Thank you Andrea and Francesco for the magical day and memories for a lifetime.

Horrible, horrific, horrific!!!

The only luck is that I stalled to order and left with appetizer and a first course to test. Squalid starter salami beautiful only to see had the smell of old / gone bad. Shabby bruschetta especially the cheese one was vomitable, the taste was identical to that of the chlorine in the pools. First course I ordered wild boar ragout seemed a stew more than a first course since there was no trace of ragout but huge pieces thrown in at random. Tremendous in all respects. Incompetent staff. The only thing I have to give credit for is the courtesy of the curly boy who was a waiter. For the rest zero cook who came out here and there instead of being in the kitchen. Maybe if he spent more time in the kitchen he would avoid letting out certain dishes!

Our day

I chose this inn to celebrate my wedding, taking advantage of the location for the civil function and for the banquet afterwards.
A menu that opened with an abundant hot and cold buffet, continuing with a hand-made first course and a sliced meat with colonnata lard, accompanied by the side dish.
Last, but not least, the wedding cake made on the spot by Andrea successfully.
Everything perfect, from the function to the cutting of the cake.

experience to be repeated, I recommend it

We stayed for dinner for two evenings, what can I say, everything was delicious, both starters and first courses, second courses, desserts... Nothing to say, exquisite local products, very well presented, excellent service, good value for money.
I absolutely recommend it
